NEW RANKINGS just came out and according ESPN, this is now between #18 and #2 and I personally think both teams are a little underated by the polls. UK was fortunate to lose earlier in the season than SYR but looking at SOS, I would vote SYR #1 instead of UK. UK loses one player, particularly DAVIS, to foul trouble and they have a major problem. SYR needs MELO to be their best, but they can still survive without him for half a game. Any other position and SYR can easily sub in with little loss of talent. KY cannot sub anyone but MILLER without a significant dropoff and fatigue would be a factor at the end of a game between the two IMO. I have been critical of SU, but Jay Bilas brought up a great point last night. When asked about the game and the ugly win, he said that how many teams can shoot 1 for 29 from the field outside the paint and still win, on the road, and in Louisville.
