Alright, here it is boys and girls - a thread a special made by yours truly so you can predict the outcomes of Heat games on here and leave the game thread for pre-game, in-game and post-game discussions and not spread the bad cancerous karma.
As mentioned in the previous thread - in this first back-to-back-to-back stretch for the Heat we face our division rival Atlanta Hawks, a defensive minded Milwuakee Bucks team who has owned us to this point and an up and coming, solid, Indiana Pacers team. Knock yourselves out making your predictions. We will now use this thread for this particular subject to refer back to on a game to game basis. Enjoy.
No doubt. Point distrubtion will be of 2 points per every correct prediction... 3 bonus points if you guess the correct score... We can keep it like that, or we can add a tie-break im sure you all will have fun with - Which is, guessing what the 5 on the floor will be at a given time.
For tonight I will allow for predictions to come in until half-time, at that point it closes - For the rest of the season predictions must be in before tip-off. have fun.
My prediction for the lineup at crunch time is Wade, Lebron, Battier, Bosh and Haslem. We can call crunch time as of the 7 minute mark of the 4th quarter - so, whatever the lineup is from the point on will be considered the crunch time lineup.
Choice is yours - the one point bonus can be guessing the final five during crunch time or guessing who the leading score for the Heat will be. Go over to the predictions thread to do your thing.
your right bks - I could leave it to each poster to chose which of the two options to use for the tie-break or set it at one of the two in particular - up to you guys. I predicted my crunch time lineup - I will throw in a wild card and say Bosh will be the leading score tonight.
At any other point in the season, the way things have played themselves out, that might be quite the bold prediction - But, during this stretch it may not be - lol
As long as its not a costly 3rd quarter, I dont care how bad it is. I would say we might need to find a way to pull away or get some breathing room in the scoreboard by then because this has the looks of a close, back and forth, down to the wire type of game.
The leading score with 23 pts was LeBron James followed by Dwyane Wade with 21, Mario Chalmers with 15 and Chris Bosh with 14...Leader on the glass was Bosh. There was no need for a crunch time lineup as this game was over when it started. Leading score off the bench Norris Cole with 10 and Battier behind him with 7 points. Everyone who was active played... Mickell Gladness and Terrel Harris the only inactives and didnt play. Finals score was 107-87... As I said earlier, we gave the Hawks far too much credit.
