Mickelson roars ahead of Tiger, wins at Pebble ...

Great performance by Phil...made it very clear that he is relevant and that Tiger is irrelevant. Now if only all the stupid whore journalists could get the message! Congrats to Phil...make it a big winning year Phil!

I missed Tiger's post match intervue. Was it his knee, or his ankle.....or maybe his wrist this time? No?? Had to be his neck, or his right forearm this time. Maybe it was his foot. It will be interesting to see how they excuse Tiger from poor play on sunday. Looking forward to it.

Phil is one of the greatest golfers of all time .. Overshadowed for a decade by Tiger, but he still has what it takes..

Love to see Lefty play so well. I love seeing him go head-to-head with Tiger and smoke him. Class act, all the way.

It's great for the US Tour that Phil won because of his star power. As for Tiger, his swing changes are close, but obviously don't hold up when they are most needed yet. He's good enough for a Greg Norman "Saturday Slam" right now. The main question is how many more reps he needs before his swing changes hold up under the pressure of the final round.

Wow, does Tiger need to grow up. I get it he was diappointed but he was just nasty. Sometimes you're the and sometimes you're the windshield,, deal with Tiger. We all have bad days on the course but the sun still comes up the next day.

Phil showed Woods how to come from behind and win. Great to see a class act like Phil win again. It sure helps golf when class acts are leading the way. Seeing that last putt drop for Phil was just terrific and a thing of beauty.

Six shots out of the lead going into the final round, Mickelson made putts from all over the place in closing with an 8-under 64 to win the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and become only the ninth player with 40 career PGA Tour wins

Can't wait to see Steve Ellings story headline. I bet it reads something like "Phil holds on to beat a resurgent Tiger."

That being said what a great round of golf on everyones favorite golf course and a complete smack down of that Tiger guy. Any grain of confidence Tiger may have had recently went down the tilet with his game Sunday.

Good solid round by Mickelson; in fact, I've never watched him play better, than today. Tiger, on the other hand, has simply lost his Mojo. There was a time when you, just knew, Tiger was going to make two or more long, winding, crucial putts (like Phil was making today), to win on Sunday. Congratulations Mr. Mickelson: you da man!

That was one of the all time great final round charges, on one of the biggest stages in golf. You just don't play bigger than Mickelson did today. Shooting 64 on a cold and windy day on the Monterrey Peninsula is in heroic territory. We've been Mickelson fans for a VERY long time ... back to his early days on Tour, making this a very satisfying afternoon of watching a golf tournament for us. Unfortunately some of the best holes happened before the coverage picked up, showing that they really need 18 hole coverage at Pebble Beach ... because the wisdom at Pebble is you have to make your move on the front nine, and then hold what you've got on the back ... just the opposite of Augusta National. Congratulations Phil on moving up a notch in the elite company you enjoy on the all time Tour wins list, and for giving us a memory that will last a very long while.

It was a great round by Phil draining those long par shots were crucial, Charlie Wi was in contention but it was Phil's day congrats to Mickleson!

Romo is a scratch golfer therefore gets no shots. They went from -19 to -23 and Tiger was over par today so I think Romo shot 60-something. Wow!!!!

Same story here,the media hypes up Woods all week only to watch him falter.....this is growing old,nice to see Phil win #40,a true family MAN.

i dont understand this thing with tiger woods. a lot of people, baseball players, basketball players etc. have gotten divorces and still have been good atheletes.
