Ravens K Cundiff grateful for teammates' support

As much as I hate the Ravens, I honestly felt sorry for this kid. Nobody means to make a mistake like this, but as his teammates said.."it happens". Ok....being a big Steeler fan...I have to say I had my fingers crossed he would miss!

HAHA would you expect anything different since they keep Flacco the choker....

This really is the ugly side of sports. I spent most of my life living in Boston where sports fan are "cult-like" about their teams. Same is true in other cities but none worse than Boston in my opinion. Living thru Buckner and how that guys life was forever changed is....... well.... scary. This guy miss played a ground ball. he didn't murder ot even hurt anyone yet he has to watch out what will happen when he walks down the street. Sports are meant to entain us! When they stop doing that and take on another meaning we have to see if the problem is with the sport or us. Cundiff's miss was huge but again the fact that he has to be "surprised" at the reception speaks about us as a whole. The fact is the same people who rip him (and others they label "failures") apart and try to take him down are really just people who hate their own lives and want to drag others down into their pwn pathetic dark places.

People who are taking his miss to heart need to liven up. It's just a game and there will be plenty more down the road.

The team is to blame as much as Cundiff. They had a time-out & weren't watching the downs. What happened to Rice in that game?

That's why they had a successful season. It is all about "teamwork." Kudos to Ray Lewis for immediately supporting him and saying what I just did. Kudos to the entire Ravens team. Classy. and that's getting harder and harder to find in professional sports.
