With all this negativity coming from UNC "fans" about how much Henson sucks and how much they love Anthony Davis and they envy Kentucky. They both struggle on the offensive end Henson is far improved with an improving jump shot and Davis scores mostly on dunks and put backs both are defensive monsters and great rebounders. Davis is a little more fluid than Henson. So my question to everyone especially the UNC haters in UNC fan clothing is What is really the difference between Henson and Anthony Davis? Is he really that much better?
AD is hyped because it's UK. AD brings great defense and fear in the paint but outside of alley hoops and easy layup dunks he has no offensive game. Great player hes fear factor is crazy but to me Henson is a complete player compared to him. I have yet to see AD hit deep shots like henson has, all in all AD is slightly better defense player. But henson brings more offense and still blocks a lot of shots to. For the record I'm not envious of a program that hasnt won a title since 98 and has a coach that hasn't won a title.... Oh my mistake be has won stuff they just investigate or take it away.
I think any UNC fan who thinks AD is better they are idiots. Henson is becoming more well rounded than he use to. He is starting to find confidence on the offensive end as far as jumps shots go. He has a nice underneath the rim game, which I wish he used more of. I don't know why UNC fans keep thinking that Henson is an offensive struggle. He has had some nice games and he is very unselfish. He is always looking for Z as well, so I don't know why people call him bad on offense. He can't shoot free throw, so what, neither can half the UNC squad...get over it.
So there is one area of his game that Davis wins in? The percentage of big man hitting free throws is slim. Sure he could get better, but if you are going to hold Henson accountable for free throws, hold the rest of the team for them as well. He has struggled at the line, but my gosh he has come a heck of a long way from where he started. I remember just like it was yesterday where he would have several in a row not touch the rim. Yes they are recruited to play basketball..hence that is the name of the game...no shit**** Sherlock. We are talking about who the better player is, not who the better free throw shooter is...Henson wins 9 out of 10 of them. I'll take Henson anyday of the week.
