Prediction time...What will our record be?

Ok Nation...Season is upon us.  So take a look at the schedule. Analyze the team and give your prediction for our win-loss record and the Season. Anything you predict can and will be used against you down the line.

After going over the schedule and thinking about our team i have our record at 8-8.

If some positions are more improved then they seem at the moment that can change things. But to my eye from following this team for so long thats where i have us.

Cmon.  et it on record. 

13-3.  With a 6-0 start, evening out for a stretch to 8-2, then finishing 5-1 for a wild romp into the playoffs.

8-8 most likely. 9-7 would be great, but it's hard to fathom we'll go 10-6 guys.

If C.Palmer and D-Mac stay healthy - 10-6

If C.Palmer stays healthy but D-Mac goes down - 8-8

If C.Palmer gets hurt and misses lots of time - 6-10

week 1 vs, SD - Win -we suprise SD at home
week 2 @ Dolphins - Win -Rookie QB we better finally win in Miami
week 3 vs. Pitt - Win -I'm not big on pitt this year but if this was their house I'd give us a loss but it's not.
week 4 @ Donks - Win -DMAC tears them up as usual
week 5 BYE
week 6 @ Falcons - Loss -too tough of a team in their Stadium
week 7 vs. Jags - Win - should be a win at home against a weak team.
week 8 @ Quiefs - Win -we usually play well in KC
week 9 vs. Bucs - Loss -VJ teats us up disappointing loss at home.
week 10 @ Ravens - Win - think this might be a down year for Baltimore since they don't have their best pass rusher.
week 11 vs. Saints - loss -Brees will kill us as usualweek 12 @ Bungles - win - Carsons revenge
week 13 vs. Browns - win -not much to say here
week 14 vs. Donks - win - Donks still no answer for DMAC
week 15 vs. Quiefs - loss - they give us hell at home for some reason.
week 16 @ Panthers - win - we find a way to pull this one out but it will be a close game.
week 17 @ SD - loss -Rivers finds a way to beat us last game of the season.

Prediction is 11-5

There is alot to factor here. I think if we keep our penalties to an average for the NFL not our team, if DMAC stays healthy, if Carson gets on the same page with WRs/play calling, if Knapps play calling in the red zone was just him being non discript and he has an answer to our red zone woes. I say 12 and 4. However if Knapp calls the same poor play calling as his last stint here and carson doesnt get on the same page, and DMAC gets hurt and we rack up penalties. I say 2 and 12.

So if all goes right 12 and 4
if everything goes as it typically does for us 2 and 14.

So much has changed I dont know where to put us, even trying to be unbiased
I say 8 and 8 because its easy to do. Just to much has changed.

End of story I will be a homer and say 12 and 4.

With a winning record at home (last year we went with a putrid 0-3 vs AFC West at home and 3-5 overall, that hurt!!!) I see something between 9-7 or 10-6. Otherwise 8-8 at best.

 

With new systems installed on offense and defense, I will say 8-8 or 9-7.  Next year will be our year...13-3 next year.

I see us at 7-9.... This team will take some time to gel and we aren't very deep. We have a solid starting 22, but if anyone thinks at least 6 or more starters aren't going to miss some time this season with injuries, you're deluded. Our reserves are sketchy... and I'm pretty sure they're going to cost us at least a couple games. With all the changes, the upheaval and the brand new system we're implememnting on both sides of the ball.... next year could be the year we really take a step forward.


 

2-14. Nothing to back it up. Just sounds good.

Format wise, records suck


I really enjoy the sound of records with a proper rig


The best thing about records is they've become way over priced to rape the wallets of starbucks drinking hipster snobs

I agree with some of the posters that with all the upheaval, 8-8 would be about right.

Having said that, I believe this Defense could be playoff caliber and if so we could go 10-6

If the Offense starts clicking and DMC stays healthy, 12-4

Let Terrence(Rod) be the GM, we go totally undefeated, and Pryor is Super Bowl MVP.

7-9.  I think the first time head coach, the conservative offense, CPs picks, injuries, and the D will hold this team back.  Plus they play the AFC north.
