Its as simple as this. There are those of us who believe in rookie GM's and coaches. They feel they have the "it" factor and know how to bring the "pain". They think Reggie had something to do with the Packers success. They didn't believe that as an 8-8 team we were really that good and improving last year. They have convinced themselves that Al Davis was an incompetent man and bringing in anyone would be better than him. They also believe in the tooth fairy, Santa Clause, and Big Foot.
The rest of us called it right away. Theis will be the darkest and worst stretch of Raiders football in its history maybe even NFL history. We knew a scout turned GM would be in over his head. We also knew the late great, HOF owner, Al Davis knew how to win and was close to putting it together again and Hue was on the right track.
We are 52 players away from their vision. OK 50, Briesel and the OL everyone runs around to hit the QB will be on the team.
But Über, it's not like any of those guys on the list were or are suppose to make or break the team.

Its a mess, so clean it up and start fresh.I really don't think Fresh is much of a football player.

The new era of Raiders football means to me that we will not be trading our first round pick in next years draft to try to salvage this season. that's a new concept for Raiders fans and is going to take some getting used to
90% of the posters would rather be 8-8 again rather than go through the pains of building a franchise correctly
Leppy you are on to something. That pattern of performence is not encouraging. However Bronco fans are very high on him. But being a good DC and good HC are two different things. The Bronco fans were also high on Tebow.
If Hue Jackson were here the Raiders would be 6-0 by nowIf Hue was here we wouldn't be 32nd in rushing, bet my house on that!!
It will be 2014 before the McKenzie/Allen team really even begins to have a fair chance to put a quality team on the field.
