Tebow Time?

Mark Sanchez predictably sucks again. Jets drop to 3-5. I say it's time for Tim Tebow. Thoughts?

But, they were in 1st place in week 4!

Maybe Rex will get fired. The Jets are more interested in talking instead of winning.

As a Tebow homer, I say the Jets start Tim Tebow next week and win out. 11-5 wildcard and make it to the AFC Championship losing to the Denver Broncos.

It's fun being a homer. I can see why Ftballgenius does it.

If Sanchez gets benched, does he ever get a chance to start again? He certainly plays like a career backup. Like Kyle Orton Jr.

as i said int he other thread

"well now that i've got to see this team live........i can see that sanchez really is not the problem, i dont see why they would change"

Orton wasn't really the problem in Denver, but when they started Tebow, they went from 1-4 to the playoffs with a win over the Steelers. QB may not be THE issue, but a QB change certainly wouldn't make things worse.

yes it would, the Jets would be worse than 3-5 if tebow started every game

tebow had the worst play of hte game today and he only played in what, 10 plays?

In a 30-9 loss, it's hard to say if any one play was the worst of the game. Sanchez played pretty pathetic throughout the day. Maybe start Tebow for one week to motivate Sanchez. Something's gotta change for the Jets, though. At 3-5, they're season is starting to slip away.

no it's really not, tebow had the worst play, not hard to say

and if your gonna bench sanchez, which i disagree with, but if you are, mcelroy is the guy

look, i like tebow as a person.....and on a team with a good running O-Line i think he could play QB........the jets dont ahve a good running O-Line, tebow would struggle w/ the jets

I have no idea why the jets traded for him and i have no idea outside of wanting marketing, why tebow wanted the jets over the jags

As bad as the Jets may be, the Jaguars are considerably worse. Maurice Jones-Drew is just about the only good player. They have less good players to throw to than the Jets.

valid point, i just thought he'd have a better chance to start in jax

you gotta keep in mind, i know tebow did win games last year......but he didn't play well..........and sanchez has done the same in new york making 2 AFCCG's...........

good luck tonight, i am a huge peyton fan and wanted the jets to go all out to get him and they didn't.

tebow was the worst decision ever......you either went after a guy like peyton who is clearly better than sanchez and start him.....or you leave sanchez alone.......to go after a guy like tebow just added so much unnessesary pressure and chatter........there are far worse problems with this team than is sanchez or tebow should be QB

WOW!!! Deja-vu... Isn`t that what all the Denver fans said last year? The season is slipping away from the Jets, might as well play Tebow, and see where he can take them. If he can`t, it would make an easy choice when draft time comes around.

Boy, I know that feeling. All I have to say in response is Kyle Orton sucks. Of course, I already knew that and was one of the few Broncos fans advocating for Tebow to be starting week 1. All it took was a 1-4 start for John Fox to see the error of his ways.

yes, cause the Jets ave the broncos defense, O-Line, running game and receivers..........also 8-8 will win the AFC East

The Broncos were 7-24 before they started Tebow. Easily one of the worst teams in the league. The defense was absolutely pathetic. Even when Tebow started, they were still pretty bad. The 2011 Denver Broncos defense was in the bottom half of the league in most, if not all statistical categories.

Statistically speaking, yes they were. Just look at what the Patriots did to that defense. Heck, even Christian Ponder was able to have his way against the Broncos d last year.
