Relocate the Kings to Seattle!!!

Sell the team to Steve Hansen and Group, to have an ownership that actually is financially set and has structure to support the team!!!

Doesn't look like it's gonna be your team any more.  You had an asset, refused to build an arena, and now they are on their way to Seattle.  At least we won't have to deal with the Maloofs like you guys had to.

Bummed out here in KC, after building our new arena a few years ago a lot of us are disapointed an ownership group couldn't be put together to bring the Kings back home.  Guess the Jayhawks are the closest we'll get to the NBA

As a Seattle fan, I'm pumped about the thought of getting the Sonics back, but at the same time, feel for the fans of Sacramento. They have been a great NBA market for 25 years and it sucks they were stuck with ownership like the Maloofs.

I am disgusted by how some of these seattle fans (specifically the thread creater) have came on these boards (although it is lifeless) and started talking about taking over these boards and they dont support the team, or get out of here we sound like those morans from oklahoma when they took our team. we should be showing some respect we of all people know what it feels like to lose a team. I feel for these fans and what they are about to go through is going to suck

Its not over yet, nothing is official,, I for one will be quite sad to see them go

I agree seattlefan75. I live in the Seattle area also and feel for the fans of Sacramento. Disappointed that we have some threads that sound like they are from the sticks and education stopped at the 7th grade. For one, I'm not totally convinced they are leaving? With owners like the Maloofs, anything is possible, whether it makes sense or not. I like how they (Maloofs) still want some say/control with the team once it is sold. Like Hansen or any successful businessman is going to go into business with these guys?

I watched the sonics gate video and saw what true sonic fans went through and it's not something that any true fan should have to go through. While I would like to see a team back in Seattle, it would be good for the league and the fans deserve it, I would obviously love for it to be an expansion team. The Maloofs have a lot of animosity built up with the city of Sacramento for not presenting them with a "better" arena deal but the fact of the matter is a good deal was on the table, they agreed to the deal and then had the balls to stand at halfcourt of the next home game hand-in-hand with mayor Kevin Johnson and tell the whole arena there was an arena deal to keep the team only to have them back out a week later and claim they never agreed to the deal. Thats the kind of businessman the maloofs are. So I will hold on to a fools hope that somehow the sale to hanson falls through because, hell the maloofs are good at screwing up done deals.

The ignorance of fans is incredible. The Kings fans do not deserve this at all. They have tried everything there is possible to do to keep the team with inept owners. Sonics fans did squat, nothing but put that upon themselves. Schultz went before the city and the state several times asking for help renevating or to renegotiate the lease to Key Arena. Is Key Arena a great arena, yes but not for an owner when the city is making you pay a butt load. Schultz didn't have the luxury of having the city and state in his pocket like Barry Ackerly did with republicans or the few democrats that liked sports. There were no grass roots organizations to help keep the Sonics the first time Schultz brought up selling and relocating, the 2nd but finally the 3rd time he brought in Stumpy Stern and he was made to look a fool by stuttering his way around like Obama then the next thing you know, the Sonics are property of Bucktooth, can't wear light clothes because he sweats too much Bennett. Leave the Kings alone, they actually cared before it was too late.

My question is, Balmer, Hansen and the Nordstroms care so much about the Sonics that they are willing to fork over 500 plus million now, where were they at when Schultz put the team up for 250?

And who is Steve Hansen? If you're going to start some idiotic thread at least don't start it off by being a moron.

Balmer actually showed up at the last hour, but the team had already been sold and was too late. This is getting nasty, but that seems to be the NBA's process in doing these type of things. 

On a side note, I don't agree dogging the Kings fans but let's be honest, we didn't take over these boards. I mean, there was nobody on here before this post. Just saying.
