I think all that leppy is saying is that if you judge a teams draft class by the best player drafted, and to me that is one that outperformed where they were drafted, and your answer is Miles Burris... you didn't have a good draft. He was our best draft pick. He performed like a 4th round pick. That's not saying he won't or can't improve. He probably will if given the chance. Reggie's draft grade could very well improve or get worse depending on how well the players draft progress in their careers.
Dpwtv, what leppy is doing here is taunting me specifically. He told me Miles Burris is one of the worst LBs in the league. Some stat sheet that I wouldnt wipe my azz with told him so. Nevermind how he plays on the field or that hes a 4th rounder. I asked in a poll if other fans think MB earned a shot to play and the proof is in the pudding. so he puts a mimicing poll up with an extreme "hof" question...And look at his poll! Lmao. Hes just a cyberbully pr!ck.
Burris was a raw pick out of SDSU that was forced to start due to the knee issues pertaining to Aaron Curry. He struggled especially in pass coverage and is not ready to start for the Raiders which is why Reggie went out and signed 3 LB's and they will all start in 2013. Burris will be a reserve, unless they are in 3-4 sets. Has a ways to go IMO. Hopes he improves on coverage and stop missing so many damned tackles this season. I like his character, but his play has to match it this season.
Ya'll may or may not remember - I've been a Miles Burris fan since college and was stoked the Raiders got him.
That said, he's not without flaws. He is at his best when he is being aggressive and I expected the speed of the NFL game and the need to be reactionary at times to give him trouble at first. I don't think he had an all-world rookie season but I don't think he embarassed himself either. A project, but I still see a future there.
