I think Kyle Long could be a Raider just because of his last name but he needs some coaching up. At this point he is raw but from what everyong says he is super athletic for his size and powerful wouldn't be a bad get. I honestly want DJ Fluker for our RT but after this National Title game there is not why he slips past the 2nd round. He is a bull dozer, and nimble for a big guy.


Tyrann Matheiu is a pure playmaker. He can cover better than what we got at this point on our team, he tackles better too, and the main attribute is he gets the ball. Whether its a INT, FF, recovery or even PR return, he gets the damn ball back to our offense if not to the house. He is small but he plays a lot bigger. And after RM brought in Hanson this season it shows he doesn't care how big of a CB you are as long as you can play. If he got his act together he is going to be a huge steal for a team in the 4th rd or later. I'd love for RM to grab this kid. And the things he did weren't bad either. Come on smoking tree is bad? Ever been to a Raider game? I remember at training camp we saw TK at his car and went up to get a autograph and his whole car smelt like tree. 

I think RM is trading down. I won't be mad if he does either. It could possibly be more than once too. He is going to try hard to stack his picks unless someone just blows the doors off at the combine and is already a top 5 player on the board. Moving down twice and adding two 2nd rd picks then probably moving back into the bottom of the first to snag a falling talent. If he can pull that off I'd love to see 

Alec Olgetree and Jessie Williams snagged. Those two guys are going to make instant impact for their teams that draf them.  Once Olgetree bulks up its a wrap he is going to be a Patrick Willis all over the field type LB. Jessie Williams is the NT/DT we are looking for. Benches 650 Lbs and it shows on the field when he presses lineman all over the place.

If we stay at #3 it's gotta be Jarvis JOnes, Moore or Star. Werner would also be good but I think he goes to the Jags at 2.  I can't wait to see the moves RM makes. It's make or break for him with the fan base already and I think he'll make good of these picks.        

Daniel McCullers also said he is going back to school so we can all take him off our list of wants.

McCullers will benefit from another season at Tennessee. Being as tall as he is, IMO he needs to learn to get low.

Going back to the power game, I wonder if our current OL will do, Parsons, Bergstrom and Nix with Lil Wiz and Big V? That allows us to go after more defense.

I'm not sure there is enough nastiness in that group of lineman Uber. Give me DJ Fluker in the 2nd round for our starting RT next season. That guy is a ballarina mixed with tonka truck, I like him alot. At first I was thinking all Defense draft but he would be a huge steal in the 2nd round. Run block like my boy Langston Walker but can actually move those feet to pass block.

I've already convinced myself that RM will somehow someway trade down. I don't know for who but he's going to get into that 2nd round someway. If he moves back into the first there are a few guys I wouldn't mind getting but I'd want Alec Olgetree. Yes, over Te'o. If we don't snag Jarvis JOnes at #3 we should move back and grab his running mate since were missing a MLB not that McClain as just utterly lost it.

Also saw Kwame Geathers came out as well from UGA. BEAST. He didn't start much because that was Jenkins job but he was productive. He also has two brothers in the NFL so it runs in the family the only difference is this guy is a 6'6 355 LB NT. We all know were due for one. He probably isn't rated really high just yet so we may be able to steal him in the later rounds.

Sound advice to trade down Uber. For those who think we need to trade up i would say that we have too many holes to be filled to be putting all our hopes on one high pick. We need to bring in a volume of players and the more we draft the more have a chance to stick.

Im with you on building from the lines back as well. Thats what its all about. Lets lay the foundation this offseason.
