UM's future head coach?

January 10, 2013 2:12 pm

The U just hired former player & coach Mario Cristabal as "associate head coach" and TE coach. Don't know about you

guys but this was a very smart move by Golden. Cristabal knows the area very well for recruiting and if Golden gets his

dream job (PSU) UM next head coach is already on the staff. Great move Canes!

it is a great hire, just for recruiting the area alone. However, golden isn't going anywhere anytime in the next 4-5 years or more. not many people will want to touch the PSU job even after o brien does what he can.

mario was the TE coach back in the olsen area....

You never know what could happen in the future but if Mario sticks around then I could see him getting a chance at the job. Thing is I don't see him just waiting around if offered another head coaching job in the next couple years. He may want to be the man at UM but if Golden sticks to his word then Mario is going to have a long wait. Great hire though!!!! GO CANES!!!!

We all know that Miami's future head coach is Ray "I Didn't Murder Nobody" Lewis; he combines all the "qualities" that Miami values most highly in one highly volatile package.

LOL Man i cant believe Miami fans have resorted to bragging on Louisville accomplishments. Wait, i cant hear you mercury over your crying from ND bending you guys over. LOL or KSU, whichever beating you want to pick from.

Its ok though, UF will bend Miami over later this year. Then im sure you will be clinging to Louisville's win over UF. Sad, Miami fans have lost all hope.

miami won their last game played. can't say the same for the gayturds. also it's the year 2013. it's about time you let that stereotype from the 80's die. Fact is in the last 10 years UF has had the most arrested football players in the state of florida.

Thats great for Miami, they also didnt go to a bowl game. So whats your point? If UF had a program in question and didnt go to a bowl we would have won our last game also. Ill let that stereotype from the 80's die whenever Miami fans start living in the present. Kind of funny though, That "stereotype" is coming into play again as the NCAA is investigating you guys again. That dirty program down there just cant seem to get right.

gayturds? LOL How old are you?

There are much worse things we can call the Gators. Believe it or not, we are being nice but let's start with the truth. They are wife and girlfriend beaters and serious drug abusers. They are also arrested quite frequently and are an embarrassment to the school. UF should've been hit with a lack of institutional control a couple years ago when Meyers was still there and had 30+ arrests in a 2 year span. But since it was UF the NCAA turned their cheek. The NCAA has been sporting wood for UM for years waiting for a moment to pounce and got it whether it was legal or not. EVERYBODY knows this. Obviously you don't know who got screwed out of playing in a NC game in 99 when we beat FSU and got passed by, or the team who won the following year or even the team who got screwed by the bad call against OSU the year after that. Does UM ring a bell? Sounds like that was more recent than the 80's. UF had one of the greatest players to play the game at the time with Tebow but UM had the best team ever put on a field together so you should show a little more respect. R.I.P. Sean Taylor. Many of those Canes are still playing in the NFL and some may even be your favorite players on your favorite team. Not that I would expect you to admit it. Just because we aren't winning now doesn't mean we won't be soon. If history keeps repeating then after this BS is over we will be winning championships again. GO CANES!!!

And Miami is nothing but a bunch of gang bangers who get involved in shootings on campus. Bryan Patta was no innocent person, So dont think he was just an innocent bystander that got killed. He was targeted for a reason.

But the funniest part to me, talking about girlfriend beaters and serious drug abusers, Lets talk about Jeffrey Brown the great Player from DA U that raped a girl after she passed out from drinking to much.Or how bout Ramon Buchanan who assaulted a police officer?

You see UF isnt the only team with arrests, but guess what, Miami is the only team to have A SHOW MADE ABOUT ALL THE CRIMES THEY COMMITTED. Im sure you watched the ESPN 30/30 epsiode on the Miami players who stole car radios, got money from rappers, Sold drugs. LOL they were even bragging about it on the show. So UF might have " serious drug abusers" But Miami is probably the ones supplying them.

And nope Miami doesnt really ring a bell anymore, because for the past decade they have been irrelevant in college football. No ex cane is one of my favortie players on my NFL team, Im a dolphins fan and they have been just as bad as DA U has been the past decade.

LOL There is no reason to think Miami will be back anytime soon, but hey keep praying.

And you are exactly the reason nobody has respect for UF or their fans. You are all the same. I would at least admit if I had a favorite UF player in the NFL but truth is I don't know of any. Tebow is a BUST!!!!!
I'm not saying we don't have our share of problems, but for you to think that people should die and make the assumption that Pata deserved it is just wrong. You have no clue what happened unless you were the gunman. They're still looking. I watched The []_[] and laughed my butt off. Things were different back then and things have changed since. Your just pissed UF didn't come up with it first. That's why your boys at UF are trying to copy our 80's now. I have to admit, we did show you the path.

Lol one post you talk about how bad UF is and talk crap then brag about how bad Miami was. That makes a lot if sense. And sorry I don't have any favorite cane players in the NFL. Who should I like? Ray " the murderer " Lewis? Lol and I never said Patta deserved it, but I can guarantee you be was mixed up with the wrong people. How's the seventh floor crew doing these days? Lol and hate on Tebow all you want but guess what? He's undefeated against Miami! Miami sucks bro! Just accept it. Face reality.
