You see, what you want is my coverage. Well if you want my coverage you should have gone to school as long as I did, and worked as hard as I did to get good grades, and had my self control not to spend more than I had so the only debt I have is mortgage debt, which earns equity.Yes, yes, I get it. Like I said, the problem isn't the system. The system rewards hard work and good decisions. The problem is so many Americans making poor decisions and then expecting the government and me to bail them out.Except that many of the people who don't have health insurance work as hard or harder than you do. Those seniors retiring in 2008 would say that their plans were not managed very well.I agree. I can also promise you that anyone who has retired with a 401k or a Roth IRA or some other form of IRA has never complained it was not managed very well.

The point is, the government run retirement fund is bankrupt. The only way to insure you have retirement savings is to go through the public sector, like a 401k or Roth IRA.
