I'm guessing Harbaugh's going to win this one   Seriously though, I think the 49ers defense will bottle up the Ravens, while Kaepernick and company find the road through Baltimore's defense a bit easier.  Both teams should be quite healthy, which means the 9ers pass rush will be strong.  This promises to be physical, but I think the 49ers are a bit more so.

I'm more of a Broncos fan than an NFL fan so unless I really hate one of the teams I usually could not give a damn who wins.

I hate both the Harbaugh brothers so that's a draw.

I think Joey "Rock Me Amadeaus" Falco is a jerk but I have a hard time rooting for Kapernick because of his refusal to meet his birth mother. I know it's his right but as this big-time christian he should know about this thing in the bible called "Forgiveness".

I hate Ray Lewis but I also hate Randy Moss so that's a draw.

San Francisco is full of a bunch of liberal nut-jobs. Baltimore is full of gangs. (At least when I lived there)

So that settles it!!! I hope they both lose!!!



Nope, I've just decided...I can't stand the thought of Ray Lewis and "Rock Me Amadeaus" getting the rings so I'll have to grudgingly root for The 49ers. And I actually think this will be a comming out party for Kapernick and he will be the MVP.

P.S. I wanted to draft Kapernick but sadly we had some overrated QB already on the roster and his legion of fans would have stormed Dove Valley if they made that pick.

The Ravens seem to have all of the necessary pieces to win it all: a good HC, a fast reciever, a possession reciever, a RB that can do it all, a good pass-catching TE, a capable QB, and studs at each level of the defense in Ngata, Lewis and Suggs, and Ed Reed.

But the 49ers have all of that too. They are actually very similar teams, but I think the 49ers are the better overall team. And as good as John Harbaugh is, I think Jim Harbaugh is better. It just seems like this is the 49ers year. They look unstoppable.

The biggest deciding factors in this game will be the front lines. O-line and D-line for both teams. And both teams are outstanding on both sides of the LOS. These two teams are a great match-up, so from a purely football standpoint this should be a great game.

I took the Ravens by 3. I didn't bet any money, but I did manage to still make $400...

My buddy is kind of a high roller/big bettor. He once took me and a friend to Vegas for the restaurant convention (I'm in the industry), and Caesars comped his limo, 3 rooms, and he gave us these cards that paid for everything but the tip at any place Caesars owned. Super awesome. Anyway, there is this restaurant in my city that all of the 'big boys' hang out, and they had a $100,000 'grid' pool. Squares were a grand each, and he bought one and cut a bunch of us in for $10 apeice. Turns out the safety at the end of the game put him in the winner's square, so my $10 became $400!

Also funny, he managed to win another bet this year where one of the Harbaugh's declined a penalty that would have given his team a safety (and 2 points) just so the game would be closer to ending. Otherwise he loses the bet. Funny how things turn out sometimes...
