All I can say is that he deserved it. He lead a team that's been in the cellar of the division for too many years to a division championship. Lets hope he gets better at protecting himself after he comes back. Here's to the beginning of a great career RGIII! HTTR!
Congrats to RGIII. The best part about the whole thing, is he's OUR Rookie of the Year! HTTR and HTRGIII. :D
BTW Did anyone notice how pissed Andrew Luck was? He probably hates RGIII. First he came out of virtually no where to take Luck's Heisman then he beats out of a bunch of rookie of the week awards and finally he beats him out for Rookie of the Year! lol
I've seen a lot of people bitching about how RGIII didn't deserve this, but I always ask how many Rookie of the Week and Rookie of the Month awards did Luck & Wilson win combined and how many did RGIII win? I count 3 for Luck and 1 for Wilson. RGIII had 7 Rookie of the Week awards plus 2 Rookie of the Month awards. If he doesn't get hurt against the Ravens, and finishes the year healthy, the voting wouldn't have been as close as it was. He would have run away with it. It was very clear for most of the year that RGIII was the best rookie on the field most weeks.
I would have been thrilled to have either Luck or Wilson as our QB, if we couldn't have RGIII, but it was clear that RGIII deserved the award far more then the other 2. Congrats again to RGIII!
Well deserved. Inside info is the only reason that Russell Wilson won the Pepsi Max player of the year is because of the high indulgence of caffeine oriented products in the city of Seattle. See if guys cant find a Starbucks open and ran out of coffee at the house they go to their gate way drug of Pepsi to get a quick fix. Now I know this because the delivery guy for Pepsi who delivers at the FoodLion is very tight with me. They dont want angry Seahawk fans swithing to CocaCola. Personally in my professional opinion as a career super market guy find that people who drink Pepsi are losers with obesity problems so the Pepsi Max player award should go to Seattle anyways.
