Roddy White and Julio Jones have only been together for 2 years and they are currently the best WR Tandem in the NFL. If they keep up a high level of performance for a few more years they would seriously be in the discussion for best 1-2 punch ever. As for now, the best ever tandem would have to be Carter/Moss although a case could be made for Harrison/Wayne.
Eli had superbowl hangover. ALL the experts new his arm was tired but he's still one of teh most elite qbs in the NFL and is teh most CLUTCH quarter back in the league. The G-men would be winning 3 or 4 more superbowls if they didn't have one of the WORST defenses in the NFL. Eli carries the team. Name ONE quarter back who could take a team as far as Eli does with such a crappy defense.
I said Rice/Owens. Don't even like Terrell Owens, but if you take his grating personality out of it, the dude was a beast on the field....and Rice, well, enough said. Pretty good duo there.
Carter/Moss would be second I figure. Moss was a bit one dimensional, just happens to be the best ever at that one dimension.
"No, you don't. If you think that catching passes from Joe Montana and Steve Young is as tough as catching passes and being on teams with Jeff George, Dante Culpepper and Todd Bouman are the same, you are (once again) deluded."
....................If you think catching passes outside at the windy stick is the same as catching passes inside a comfy dome, then once gain your deluded.
Cruz/Nicks.....now thats funny....I'd put them far BEHIND Boldin/Fitzgerald Roddy White/ J.Jones I'm sure theres ab out 15 other Combos im forgeting......any WAY......this list is for the " G R E A T S " not young & Good
Someone had raised a big stink about their not being any pre super bowl dous here. Allow me to interject. I'd assume he didn't mention any of these duos because these duos hardly existed back then, obviously because back then the league was hardly what one would call a "passing" league.
