Refs suck

I also agree 5time champ.  Playing calling was bad.  How dont u not run the ball. 

Also Refs were giving Ravens 1 yard every time near the 1st down mark.  Jim caught them that 1 time.  Look Congrats to the Ravens.  it was a great super bowl and they deserved it.  49ers had another bad 1st half but played a great 2nd half.  I would say jim got out coached because John made alot of bad calls.  Fake FG one of the worst calls and throwing the ball to start the 3rd Q.  u are up 22pts run the football.  Kill the clock.  

Quit blaming the refs purguy. There were bad calls the entire game, on both sides. That one "non call" didnt lose the game for them. There were plenty others not called on SF that could've sustained drives for the Ravens. Take your loss and be done with it. You're sounding like a hypocrite, and a girl.

The fact is that the 49ers have been playing with fire for the entire playoffs. I think they were very fortunate to get out of Atlanta with a win after lame ducking it through the first half. You can't do that against a team as good as the Ravens. It finally caught up to them last night and they deserved to lose the football game.

I pray that they get a top-flight CB in the offseason, because Culliver was the main reason the 49ers were down big in this game. Every time the Ravens needed a big play, they went in Culliver's direction, and he got lit up. He made two stops all night, one of them when Flacco threw it out of the endzone(and Culliver ran around talking smack), and the second time when Culliver could have been charged for rape and got called for PI. 

Yea tell me about it they gave you the game on a similar play against the Falcons when Roddy White was held on that 4th down play that cost the Falcons a shot at the Super Bowl. Happened earlier in the same game on that phantom roughing the passer play when a players fingernail scrapped your quarterbacks helmet. 2 weeks ago you guys wasn't signing that tune when the calls went your way so suck it up and deal with it like the rest of us and come have a seat on the couch! KARMA!!!

Just sucks when the refs blow a call like that.  I disagree about the falcon play, it was noting like what just happen to Crabtree.  Also that was a good game.  The guy hit his head.  They call that all the time.  I dont like the call but that is how they call it.  


Im not saying Refs gave the game to the Ravens because they played a great game.  ITs more that the Refs help stop the 49ers from winning the game.  It happens. Move on to next year 

The refs absolutely favored the Ravens, as they have throughout the playoffs.  How was Cary Williams not ejected for throwing a punch or pushing a ref.  I thought pushing a ref was an automatic ejection?  A couple of missed offsides calls against the Ravens, the holding at the end and I know there were others.  That being said, the 49ers had their chance and didnt take advantage. 

agreed...would have set up a play action pass to a tight end also if they couldn't run it in before.

Thank you mike, I agree.  That player should of been gone.  Refs helped Ravens out alot.  It happens.  U also have the offsides that Refs didnt call on the ravens but the next series they called it on the 49ers.  U also had the Offensive PI that they didnt call on the ravens.  They were bad overall.  Not to be a homer but I didnt see them give any plays to the 49ers.   I cant even think of a play where I was ok 49ers got a call. 


Take away the refs and the black out and this was a great super bowl.  Both teams played their hearts out.  Took 49ers awhile to get heated up but when they did Ravens had no answer.   

I still dont get why they didnt try and run it in.  They were running on that drive.

bad break for the 9ers but that is football. I'm laughing at the experts saying a good non call and not wanting to decide the game on a penalty. that play decides the game one way or another regardless. don't throw the flag and the Ravens win. throw the flag and the 9ers have 1st and goal at the 3.5 yard line with 1:45 left in the game and forces ravens to start using timeouts. its not a guarantee the 9ers punch it in but gives them a good chance to get the TD. gotta believe it gives the edge to 9ers. we can only say what if because it didn't play out that way. 9ers beat them 25-6 after the kickoff return and blackout but got off to such a bad start on defense. I still say they give the opposing QB's too much time to find open receivers with a 4-man rush. ravens went with the all out blitzes in the red zone in the crunch times and it forced early decisions and throws which won the game for them. 

Not a sore loser but the Refs were bad and cost the 49ers the game.

I'm not a sore loser, but it's the refs fault??  Okay.

The refs had nothing to do with the 49ers playing like they were scared to death for the first 35 minutes of the game.  

San Fran lost because it took them a half of football before they were ready to play.  Baltimore came out of the gate, punched San Fran in the mouth a bunch of times, and held on to win.  

Refs had nothing to do with it.  

I'm gonna go in a totally different direction here and say why not send it into overtime ?? Screw the bad calls by refs, not even trying a running play inside the 10 .............. even with all that the game was ours to win so why not tie it up ??

score was 34-29 when the 4th down pass was incomplete. got to 34-31 on the punt safety. 4 seconds left after that with the free punt.

The refs did cost us this game.

Nobody can say the 49ers would have scored if a flag was thrown on the Crabtree play. Yes, it would have given them life. Gore could have fumbled. Kaepernick could have been sacked or thrown an INT. The only points we know for sure were gift-wrapped came from the Akers flop. Take those points off the board and the Ravens lead 28-3 before the lights go out. Be happy the power outage brought the 49ers back from the dead. They were a different team after that 34-minute break. All the momentum from the 108 yard kick return disappeared. A freak outage gave the 49ers life. That's crazier than any of the referee's calls or non-calls.

Both teams played exremely hard, there were non calls that could have been called, but I think under different circumstances most of us prefer refs letting teams dictate the game. Unfortunatlly damned if you do and damned if you don't. Both teams should be proud of the effort. I didn't see anyone taking plays off. 

Weird year for stuff like power outages and sprinklers......Buffalo wild wings strikes again. 

It's all good, refs screwed us but we will be back.
