Refs suck

I agree the poor start had alot to do with the 49ers losing but that one non callsealed the game for the Ravens. It will go down as one of the worst non calls. It happens. Ravens played a great game. Just wish the refs weren't a big part of it. This superbowl will be known for the black out and the bad non call.

I didn't have a dog in this fight and don't particularly like either team but there were bad calls against both teams and some non calls.

Your strong defense gave up 34 points and were down 28-6 before the blackout. Tough to win games when you dig a hole that deep and give up that many points. Oh and giving up a 108 yard KO return doesn't help.

The 49ers have no one to blame but themselves...They had many opportunities to win the game and didn't come through. A lot of missed opporunities, mistakes, etc lead to the 49ers defeat.

The 49ers are a VERY GOOD team and should contend for the forseable future but it won't be easy with the likes of the Packers, Vikings, Seahawks, Redskins, Giants, Saints, Falcons being very good contenders also.

You guys had a great season so there's nothing to be ashamed of. It was a brutal, hard fought game between two very physical teams and the Ravens were just slightly better.

I agree it was a great game and Ravens Deserved to win.   I agree we beat ourselves.  1st half killed us. 

Blame is on the 49ers.  Special teams TD and 2 turnovers.  They will lose a game.  Im saying as a fan i just wish the game didnt end on a bad call like that.  u dont want to remember a game because of (blackout) and a bad non call by the refs.  People still remember the seattle game.  Seattle got screwed and no we know how it feels to get screwed by the refs.  Seattle still had is worse but we now know how refs can change the game. 

Yeah the refs sucks, blew some calls, but they didn't cost the Niners game.

Basically it came down to, the Ravens defense showed up and made critical plays and held the 49ers to field goals instead of TDs in the Red Zone.

The 49ers defense (especially the CBs) didn't show up at.  Flacco was throwing up prayers on those deep balls and the Ravens WR were making plays.

That's what it came down too.  The Ravens WR made plays and the 49ers DBs did not.  That's what cost the 49ers the game.

I really am sad about how the 49ers lost this superbowl, after making a big comeback, a call that wasnt made that forever will be with us in a bad way, as a passionate 49er fan my heart is broken, truly dissapointed about this refs that we're afraid to make calls throughout the game.

Give it a rest purguy. U sound ridiculous. The 49ers didn't beat themselves. They got outplayed by the Ravens. Stol trying to take the victory away from them. And u really are only seeing the game through your homer glasses. There were many non calls on the 49ers. The last fg for Baltimore came when flacco threw an incomplete pass on 3rd but he got hit out of bounds. Shoulda been a flag and 1stdown. It happens. It happened a lot on the game. Deal with it. That one non call didnt lose it for the 49ers.

Micro stop stalking me again.  Its my opinion and most of the 49ers said it themselves.  We beat ourselves, INT, Fumble and a SP teams TD(something we havent given up.)  Throw in that Ravens were what 3-3 on the deep ball.  Also we were #1 in tackling, and we had alot of miss tackles in the 1st half.



Look Im not trying to take credit away from the Ravens.  They played a great game.    In my opinion 49ers played a bad first half and Ravens got a little help from the Refs. 


Maybe u should give it a rest.

Grow up son. U absolutely are trying to take it away from the Ravens. All the crying. In the world won't give SF the SB trophy. Refs made lots of non calls in the game, not just against SF. Quit your crying, u sound pathetic.

Not complaining about the refs but they did miss two important calls in the game:
1. The Pass Interference penalty on San Fran's Culliver which I think led to a score by the Raven's ( a lot less grabbing there than the last play on the 4th and 2)
2. Was the big one on 4th and 2, Raven's were lucky that was inside the 2 min warning or the challenge would have overturned that call.
Refs make mistakes I understand, the Niners shot themself in the foot in the first half and thats what cost them the game.
By the way the difference between the Atlanta Falcons game non call and the one in the Superbowl is something called a 5 yard rule, look it up.

Im not crying.  We lost I understand.  As a Sports fan it sucks to see the Refs have an impact like that. I hated what happen to seattle against Pitt and I hate Seattle.  As a football fan u want the 2 teams to battle it out and you want the teams to fight it out for the Superbowl.  U dont want the refs killing the game.  You have to call it for both teams.  They called PI on us when I thought that was a bad call, so if they called on our guy call it on theirs(theirs was alot worse.) 


Refs need to call it for both teams.  

Flyers I agree.  See the haters dont undertand.  My argument is you called it against us with less grabbing(uncatchable ball).  They need to call it on the Ravens.

Im not saying Ravens won because of the refs because Ravens played a great game, Im saying the Refs missed a very big call that help the 49ers lose the game.

1)Bad start
2)Turnovers
3)Refs
4)Special team break down
5)bad play calling at the end of the game.


This is how I see it. 


One Positive to look at:  Kap looks like he is going to be really good.  What a game he had.  Hope this experience helps him.                  

That's why I hate close games because refs have a bigger impact in the game, We should have just beat them from get go but we played a bad game at wrong time, were gonna remember how too many plays left on field.

When you lose by 3 in a wild game like this there's always a ton of plays that you can look back on that probably should have went your way (Giants game anyone?) but there's also plays that could have put it out of reach on the other side. All in all I think the more deserving performance won the game. No doubt they got more calls (why defensive offsides only counts if you're wearing red is a valid question) but if SF had played to potential it wouldn't have mattered.

I'm light years ahead of you son.  Your debating/writing skills are that of a 5-yr old.  You can't simply acknowledge that the 49ers lost a close game.  Stop making excuses.

Btw the 49ers really need a pair of competent safties. That's what repeatedly kept causing us to get beat deep that and Vic Fangio being scared out of his mind to blitz. You couldn't send 4 down lineman against that line and expect to get constant pressure.

Actually - that too me was a major head scratcher.  I've seen players throw out for far less than the shove that Cary Willians gave to the ref.
