Ratbirds now 1/3rd as Good as Pgh

 who keeps telling me #1 defense in yardage like it means something.

   It means they gave up 3 points to the Bengals, but their QB gave up 10 and they lost 13-10 and that bumped them from the playoffs. How was that as good as Flacco's year?

What the hell is the matter with some of these posters believing Steeler fans are jealous? I for one was happy Ray Lewis went out on top. Steeler fans knew it was a lose-lose situation. Either way it went, it wouldn't have bothered me. 1 could argue Pittsburgh fans could be just as happy hearing folks talk about Niners first loss in the SB. Which is why yet again, it doesn't bother me Ravens won. Flacco isn't elite. Ray Lewis and possibly Ed Reed won't be back next year. Did you see the team without Ray Lewis losing like 4 games in a row. I wouldn't mind seeing Pittsburgh play Ravens opening night. Hell, I even thought of posting a thread trash talking a bit for fun. Why do I use the word "fun"? People will take it personally like I want them to. Later on if Ravens would happen to win, some idiot will go back through my threads to post a quote I won't even remember to tell me I'm wrong. Congrats to the Ravens, but I don't believe Flacco is elite nor do I believe he belongs in the same category as Big Ben.


And for the idiots like friggenwacko who keeps telling me #1 defense in yardage like it means something. Hell, Ravens are just as good if not better in some categories on the defensive side. I know they have to be better in the redzone and in turnovers. Hell, if it wasn't for that redzone defense, Flacco wouldn't have a ring right now.

2 things....first, since the national average is an 8th grade reading level, there are likely many cities that have an average 6th grade reading level.  Second, the point is that a 6th grade reading level actually exists, and provides a real reference point to make the joke.

An example:

Person #2:  No, I'm as strong as a ehhaperfkjhrw.

Person #1's insult makes sense, since babies exist and their relative strength is well known.  Person #2's reply does not make sense, since he just made something up to compare his strength to.

Actually Soloman, if I remember correctly you were the one that weighed in on championships with a very complex formula which explained how the Steelers 6 was still more than the Packers 13.  Now I don't remember the whole formula, but a big part of it was the number of teams in the league.  The Steelers have 2 titles with 32 teams, and 4 with 26 teams.  So doesn't the reduced amount of teams then increase the their standing a bit to like 7/19 as good as Pgh?

Flacco seemd to carry the team in spite of the way the defense played.  Flacco earned the ring more than anyone.  All he did was have one of the best post seasons of any QB in history.  Not oo shabby, don't you think?  Consider how many points Flacco could have registered had the defense managed a few 3 and outs.  If the Ravens had a defense that gave up fewer yards, they would have more 3 and outs, and Flacco would've had more opportunities with the ball....agree?  That's what a defense that doesn't give up yards will do for you. 

Or should do for you. Yet Pig Ben couldn't get a sniff of the playoffs even with a higher ranked defense.  Pig Ben is a mediocre, overrated QB and Squeeler fans are apparently too stupid to recognize the difference.
