1. Joe Flacco - very possible with an exclusive tage which gets him over $20M Ozzie may rush to get a deal done to get that number down to something a bit more ma 2. Dannell Ellerbe - agreed, but he's a MLB just coming into his own and he may not even cost as much a Ray Lewis did in 2012. 3. Paul Kruger - this is a damn shame. I've waited forever to get him to this level and pfffft - he'll be gone. I hope he has more loyalty and SB rings in his sights than a payday, but that's probably a pipedream. If he stays I'll get a 99 jersey - YOU HERE ME PAUL?! 4. Cary Williams - Agreed again. He turned down 3yr/#15M earlier this year and he proved he deserves it. With Corey Graham coming on strong too, I'm ok with Carey moving on - moreso than Kruger or Ellerbe. 5. Bryant McKinnie - Disagree. He needs the money. He's getting up there (he'll be 34 at the start of next season) so not many teams want to sign him long-term and I can see the Ravens will makinge him a 2 yr offer with incentives. He still may be gone tho'.
6. Ed Reed - Agreed. He is also getting up there and is injry laden to boot. He'll get a 2 yr deal somewhere. I see the Ravens letting him test the FA market a bit lioke they did Lewis and match any top offer as long as it fits our cap.
Hey guys...and gals...meant to stop over here ealier but forgot. I'd like to congratulate the Ravens and their fans for a fine season...and of course, winning the Super Bowl. Good luck next year.
New Orleans was awesome but I got back this morning. I contemplated going downtown but abuddy is a BPD officer and he said don't even try.....Packed so I watched the parade and rally at M & T on TV......Ray stole the show but the Ray/Jacoby squirrel dance was awesome. Ozzie has got to be eating asperine by the handfull right now as he gets to go back to work tomorrw to try and settle this cap situation. I would love to weigh in on it but I really just don't know what they will do.......except for signing Joe and probably Ellerbe. After that it's a crap shoot.
