Manning is 9-11 in the playoffs.  Flacco is 9-4.  Both have one superbowl ring.

That Ravens defense just won the superbowl while being the only superbowl winning defense in NFL history to allow 400 total yards per playoff game, and that's thanks to Flacco who just tied a playoff record with Joe Montana at 11 TDs with 0 INTs.  Manning has gone one and done in the post season 8 times out of 11 and was carried to his only ring by the defense and running game.

There's little doubt that Flacco is a better playoff QB.

Flacco is tied for 10th most playoff wins of all time. The other QBs with 9 wins are Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, Jim Kelly, Bart Starr and Donovan McNabb. Only 5 QBs have more then 11 wins.

You can't honestly tell me that guys like Trent Difler and Joe Flacco are better than Dan Marino and just as good as guys like Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Steve Young, Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers. Is Big Ben better than any of those guys? Is Big Ben or Eli Manning better than any of those quarterbacks or just as good as John Elway? No. It's a 53 man team, not a one man team.

Again, it's a 53 man team. Just look at the 2011 season when everyone was talking about how "Tim Tebow went 7-1" in a 8 game stretch. That wasn't him winning those games, it was the team around him putting him in those positions to win.

Oooooooohhhhhh...  So all the games that Peyton had the Ravens number don't count?  Even though the Ravens have historically had a defense that was light years better than the Colts?  Not to mention that it took until this year, a comeback year with a new team to beat him in the playoffs.  Talk about revisionist history.  Way to slant the rhetoric.

Eli is all or nothing, which ironically sums up his career . In 8 years as a starter, he's won 2 SBs, going 8-0 in those postseasons, but in his other 6 years as a starter he has ZERO combined playoff wins, which includes 3 one-and-dones and 3 years where he missed the playoffs entirely.

Flacco has 1 less SB, but he's been in the league 4 less years and he's made the playoffs every year and has ZERO one-and-dones.

You mean the same Colts team that was 23rd in points allowed, 2nd in points scored, 18th in rushing yards (tied 6th in rushing touchdowns  - Chiefs), 2nd in passing yards (tied 1st in passing td's - Eagles), had a terrific passing defense but a horrible rushing defense?  Those Colts?

The fact that the Colts averaged 26.5 points a game really doesn't say that their defense won those games.  Ravens averaged 30 a game?  Whoopty Do.  Both teams won by outscoring their opponent, and you could have switched the defenses and each team still wins.

seriously...comparing the 2012 Ravens defense and saying it was as bad as any Colts defense from Manning's prime years is just...ridiculous.

Peyton Manning has a full career behind him.  Joe is on his way to challenging his achievements, but has a number of years to go.  But the number of play-off wins is a pretty awesome feat nonetheless.  Love me some Joe.

Did you just pick one Colts defense?  If you're speaking about the 06 Colts team, you do know they did the same thing as the Ravens this season and Giants last year right?  You know they got healthy just in time for the playoffs and that the defense got BETTER overall in the playoffs, right?  You do know that the run defense, that was horrible in the regular season, turned around and was the almost a Steelers/Ravens type of run defense don't you?

Nope, apparently you don't.  Everybody that knows and watched football in 2006 knows the Colts defense stepped up greatly in the 2006 playoffs, regardless of how they played in the regular season, after they got healthy.  Everyone except you apparently

The fact that the Colts averaged 26.5 points a game really doesn't say that their defense won those games
Silly.  You do know the 06 Colts defense only allowed 16 points per game in the playoffs.  This includes holding not one but TWO playoff teams under 9 points scored.  Go ahead and tell me again how the defense didn't win any of those games Undecided

Wait, I forgot Hester returned the opening kick off in the superbowl.  So actually, the Colts DEFENSE only allowed 14.5 points per game in the 2006 playoffs.

Holding 3 teams to 8, 6, and 10 points.  Only the Patriots scored 38.  Once again, tell me how the Colts defense didn't win any games in that playoff run
