I seen Miami against OKC and LAC in statement games and they still look like the best team in the NBA when they play a team they know who is on their level

It is easy to step up for a game against a team on the same level - The trick is being able to play against team not on your level (aka teams you should beat with ease) Right now the LA Fakers fall under that category with all due respect to showstopper.

Glad to see no negativity about Battier over the last couple of days....nice wins at home. Key is getting some of this momentum on te road. Team should be well rested to put some more sand on the Lakers and their season!

There has been no reason to be negative about him except for maybe his defense which is expected - But, his offense has earned him praise on my part over the last few games ... When negativity is warranted, it will come - As it should be.

His defense? Did you not see the job he did on Blake Griffin last night?

While Blake Griffin didnt go off and have a big game, of which I know that is why people find it worthy it to praise Shane for his defense - Still, Many of times, Shane found himself down low against Blake and DeAndre Jordan of which led to multiple easy baskets by those two. In those situations he either got dunked on or fouled in order to prevent a score. I know people like to give him credit because the team gambles by putting him on bigger guys and he does a decent job every once in a while - But , also more times than not he has to foul in order to actually stop someone.

Fact of the matter is, he did a decent job at best on defense last night as he did get man-handled on more than one occasion. But I get it, that is not his fault, that is on the coaching staff for over-valuing him - He would look better and do better if he was put up against guys of his size or that he has an advantage against.
