Don't Bet On Past Performance

Here's the first prediction I've seen for 2013's NL West final standings

1. San Francisco Giants (92-70)

2. Los Angeles Dodgers (89-73)

3. Arizona Diamondbacks (85-77)

4. San Diego Padres (76-86)

5. Colorado Rockies (68-94)

All I can say is that Bleacher Report has to do more than simply use last year's final standings to predict this year's.  

    But they gave the Rockies a 4-game improvement over last year...must been the signing of Manual Corpas to a minor league contract that pushed them over the 65 win plateau..based on that method, the Dodgers oughta go 125-37 this season...
