Well we got freaking buried. i'm probably snowed in for days since the driveway hasn't been plowed yet and there's a good 30" inches now and it's still coming down. . My driveway is wedged between 2 buildings so I don't see anyway a plow is going to do anything.
still have power and internet so it could be worse I guess.
Were I live we got over 20 inches. Doesn't bother me because I don't fight the weather, sit home and stay warm. Haven't lost power YET. They put a ban on driving since 2 pm yesterday and rightfully so.
People in the NE have to be told to not drive when there is 20+ inches of snow on the ground
Idiots
The idiots are the ones that want to drive in a brutal storm. DPW workers need to play the streets and if they are not plowed these same idiots will complain that the street is not plowed. I don't , I won't fight mother nature and go out there and freez. Let other idiots do it if they want. Very simple Next question
Man I'm lucky, we only have a tiny little mountain range in the south here that gets snow for a couple months each year. The rest of the country is snow-free all year.
Hope you guys up in the north-east are all enjoying life indoors! Crank the heater/fire and have a drink or ten...

Yeah, but how about that 115 degree heat?
I'll take the snow...
Got about 20 inches...drifts are up to 4 feet deep....a big mess, but for the most part it's bearable.
Luckily, it only gets that hot in the non-coastal areas. It's very similar to San Diego where I am, just south of Sydney. It might hit 100 degrees, but only once or twice per year.
And I'm with you there, I'd take cold over hot any day of the week!
