Who would you consider to be an "elite" poster on the Steelers and Ravens message boards?

I had to vote for nybites.  His body of work over prior years pertaining to the draft is unparalleled on CBS, anywhere.  He has been consistent, which is the key to being considered "ELITE" 

Gotta be Nybites.  Funny.  Knowledgeable.  Passionate.

And I don't know who that Steelpumplin guy is...

Honestly, there are so many good posters on the Steelers board.  Maybe more active posters than any other team on this cbs website.

I mean, my favorites list is like 8 pages long

Oh, don't worry your little head too much.  Plans are in the works for a 3 day DRAFT MATCH Contest - pertaining to teh Steelers draft picks, etc.

I'd say it's more like the NFL QB's.  There are about 5 elite posters and a whole lot of guys not to far behind. 

I had to give my vote to NY for the draft thread. 

Jackal with the G B U thread is great. 

Beach supplies all kinds of good info in regards to salary cap.  Beach also gives a well supported argument to support his views and opinions even if it sometimes inflames a poster or two in the process.  Always a good read.
Mano is much like Beach only a with a softer touch...

Burghball with his consistent participation especially on the draft thread.  I enjoy reading his analysis and perspective of players in the draft.  Especially the O line.

There is a very long list of posters that I consider elite on any given day!

I appreciate the nomination, although I'd have picked 2k as a Ravens fan over myself and/or Faulk simply on his draft knowledge.

Appreciate the nod rr1. But i would also like to nominate mano because...i mean...look at him...how can you not just love him to bits...look at those cheeks...AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. ( seriously- knowledgeable and class poster and my brother in arms in the fight to CIVILISE! :P)


In all seriousness, everyone has their pros and cons and specialties. My draft knowledge this year is poop but im still pretty good at seeing talent and i owe that to Ny and BB. hands down two of the most knowledegable people i have met when it comes to football. and as much as people may dislike Beach, the man knows his stuff, there is no one i would rather consult than him when it comes to front office, back office, all office stuff, his knowledge in how a team is runs and operates is quite impressive.

We have a good bunch.

I just want to throw this out there for guys who have not been around BB and NY.

i did the draft stuff for 2-3 years and boy oh boy did we nail it on the whole, i cant count that guys i saw early who prospered and yes we all missed aswell. but there is nothing like watching a game and then reading the thread and having NY break it all down, seeing every technical fault or picking out that 6th round gem...and can anyone top BB's inate instincts? just read the thread, sometimes all you get is a comment that states ' this guy plays football' or ' runs hard, runs right' or even a simple 'Something here, i like what i saw'- all paraphrased of course, and i really took from both of them when i evaluted guys, i followed my instincts ( banged the table...i remember ny!) and i also spent hours on a single prospect reading in to history and past games, i once had a 500gb external FULL of college games.

I digress though to some degree. great posters here.

Elite is so subjective!

Are we talking about a poster who puts up big stats with 20+ posts per day, or are we looking for that efficient poster who gets things done with as few words as possible (in this case, I'm out!)?

Elite:  noun;(sometimes functioning as plural) the most powerful, rich, gifted, or educated members of a group, community, etc.

I don't know that I fit into that description at all.  I just throw a lot of my opinions out there, sometimes in order to raise certain feathers, others to break up the monotony, and still even other opinions to keep you all busy and occupied.
