I agree with some of the guys you mentioned but getting rid of Cromartie and Kyle Wilson would be insane.
The Jets cannot afford to pay Revis and Cro. Wilson's contract is in tact but once its expired he will be a goner. Cro's stock is sky high. He is the one that needs to be traded not Revis, who I believe will fully recover. Trading Cro will clear $7 or $8 million off the cap plus garner us draft picks we sorely need. Cro is a good corner but he can be effectively replaced by cheaper corners. As far as Edwards is concerned, he got dumped by the Niners and Seahawks and has definately lost a step or two since he played with us back in our playoff runs. And with Sanchez hopefully riding the bench next year, I dont see the need to have Edwards on this team. Idzik needs to place his 'mark' on this team and it starts by cleaning house and getting rid of these has beens and cleaning up the cap mess. Edwards is just to risky and not worth the effort.
I also wrote a personal email to CBS Sports to have Ric Tombstone banned. Thank goodness he is gone. Now lets get back to some intelligent posts and discussions for the upcoming season.
It's time for Revis to go while we can still get value. He's a great player but too expensive and he'll only want more and more. Let's trade him and move on.
