Cute little season those aGgies had. Weak schedule, weak Heismann class, a qb with bad numbers against the few good teams they played. All those seniors gone and the NFL draft =  HUGE drop-off next season. Fun while it lasted, huh?



Cute little season, huh.    Lets see, A&M finished ranked #5 in the country, embarassed OU in the Cotton Bowl, had the first ever Freshman Heisman Trophy winner, and was the only team to beat the National Champions.  You t-sips would be extremely excited to have any one of those accomplishments to brag about this off season.  Instead all you have is Texs beat Ole Miss by more than A&M, an Alamo Bowl win, and "wait till next year".

One thing the aGgies did prove is how weak and overrated the $EC is. I don't believe all the other conferences combined schedule weaker OOC opponents. Pathetic.

What was the $EC's bowl record again? Exactly. After Alabama and Florida there's a pretty big freakin' drop-off in talent.

Guess you don't know OU's history in bowl games. And the fact that was the aGgies biggest win in 50 years should tell you all you need to know.

I'll tell you whats pathetic, Texas lost by 6 TDs (not points) to OU.  The same OU team that was co-champion of the Big XII.  Then OU gets their doors blown off by A&M.  The you pathetic longhorn fan wants to talk trash.  You were hoping and praying that OU could save-face for the Big XII.  Since Texas was too chicken-scratch to schedule A&M and wormed they way out of a bowl match up against A&M, you were a Boomer Sooner fan for the Cotton Bowl.  Well, OU didn't save the day.  Instead, they showed just how week the Big XII is when one of its best teams got their lunch money taken by A&M  and the Stoops boys showed the a$$.

I dont hang my hat on any of this crap. In the end, if you have no conference title, NC ring, or BCS bowl win the season was a forgettable one. I think that is a fair statement for any program that considers itself one of the big boys. I could care less about Ole Miss, I just love the hypocrisy of posters.

The last two 4 and 5 star kids Michigan recruited from texas have fizzled and left (buried in depth chart) and booted from team (multiple run-ins) Take with a grain of salt....although schools like ohio keep these kids in some how?
