The End of Due Process

February 11, 2013 2:24 pm

I still don't see where this guy didn't get due process.  He got all the process due him.  Hell, he wrote a damn letter saying he's going to do it.  He did it in plain sight.

Process over.  Kill him.

You have to prove he did it.

Apprently not, all it takes is finding a threatening letter that he may or may not have written in order to put a hit out on someone who may or may not be killing people.

If there is no trial in court then there is no due process.

I suppose next you're going to say Osama Bin Ladin didn't get due process either.

He denied responsibility for what they charge him for doing the day it happened, didn't he?  What proof is there he had any involvement?  Who judged the proof was adequate?  No one.

Justice is not something pliable, shaped to fit the whim of the wielder, if it is, it is only Vengence.

They're Hispanic, no bullets were necessary for that.

Bin Ladin is not an American citizen, therefore he is not protected under American laws.

Except none of this is happening.  They are using the drone to find him, not kill him.  Once they find him I'm sure they will try to take him into custody.  But id he puts up a fight and is shot and dies, I'm sure all o you will get on here railig against the lack of due process.

Hey dumbass, they are using the thermal imaging available on the drones to find him, not kill him.  So your whole thread is bunk.

Thanks, you beat me to it.
According to a report by a British newspaper, they are. On Sunday, the Express quoted a "senior police source" who said the "thermal imaging cameras the drones use may be our only hope of finding him--on the ground, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack."

It also reports that you're wrong in another way - this guy is NOT the first person who has been sought after using drones on US soil.

In June 2011 a county sheriff in North Dakota was trying to track down three men, possibly carrying guns, in connection with some missing cows. He had a lot of ground to cover, so—as one does—he called in a Predator drone from a local Air Force base. It not only spotted the men but could see that they were in fact unarmed. It was the first time a Predator had been involved in the arrest of U.S. citizens.
