Players that were playmakers the season before became worthless and it put us in a state of mind where we beleive none of our players have talentI'm not so sure about that. I dont think anyone (even the we're rebuilding crew) ever said that our offense lacked talent. Anyone with a brain knows that Greg Knapp is the main reason that our offense was so pathetic. Our offense is pretty much ready to hit the ground running right now, all we really need to do is add a few O-lineman and we're good to go.
You've got to be able to be flexible and adapt your system to the players that you have at any given year," Olson said. "So, our job as a coaching staff will be to identify the skill set of the players, who are our best players, what do they do best, and how can we put them in position to be successful and do what they do best."
Man, its amazing how this simple, main logic of the football, is so neglected to many coaches. If the players can play in a new system good. If not, as it happened last season, its so important that the coaches understand that their role is not to force things, but to find the ways to be successful, both them and the team.

I don't know what message board you have been visiting, but that is exactly what 99.99% of every posts has said - this team (O, D, ST) has little talent except kickers. I am not saying they are right or wrong, just that that is exactly the sentiment expressed on these boardsWho said this? I want NAMES!!! lol
Olsen seemed like he is really intrigued to find out what Pryor can do more so than what Carson is. I believe he wants to start Pryor this season and if so then they need to trade Carson to a team that can use him, Cleveland and Arizona come to mind.

Oh really...? How do you feel about the Raiders' current logo?
Pryor still has to win in camp. He definately has a higher ceiling than Palmer obviously but he has to prove he won't throw ducks. Situation very similar to San Fran with Smith and Kaepernick, but Kaepernick can straight up sling the rock. DA will have tough decision
