funny fy .. but true in a way ... i went against the grain with the Eagles .... talent and a new crew in to manage it .... and nothing with either of the other two that exactly scream dynasty or ready to dominate ... my feeling is that it will be a dogfight(insert vick joke here) ... ugly, competitive, close, and down to the wire as this year was.
I would also agree that the Eagles are our biggest threat.
Despite their woes last season, they do have quite a bit of young talent on that team. Now you add in a young, hungry coach coming from the college ranks to the NFL, he will want to prove that he belongs. Add in a healthy Mike Vick. They could be a team to be reckoned with.
How come there's not an option for All of the Above? As we've seen over the years in this division, any team can step up to the plate, get on a run and win the division. The Giants did it 2 year ago and we did it last year. I don't think any team in the division is that much better then any other team in the division. Sure, some teams have better players at this position or that position or a couple of positions, but it's not about individual players. It's about the team as a whole. Hell, the Cowboys could figure things out this off season and go on a tear during the regular season. The same can be said about the Giants or Eagles or even us.
Just like always in this division, injuries, bad play, lucky plays, etc etc will determine who's the top team standing come next December. If we play like we did early in the season, before the by, we could be the bottom team next year. If we play like we did to finish the regular season, we could run away with the division. But that's our division. The teams are so evenly matched, regardless of who's on the teams, that I think it's any teams division.
I just hope that when everything's said and done, we're the division champs again. It sure would be nice to put together back to back winning seasons' for a change. ;)
Giants are still the best team in the NFC East but with a healthy Griffin we are without question the most dangerous. We broke the Cowboys spirit last season TWICE and i see that carrying over into 2013. As far as the Eagles go I am thrilled Vick is returning for another season, As long as he is the starting QB for that team they pose no threat.
I see 2013 as a 2 team race for the division, NY will probably be the early division leader and we will make a late season push much like we did in 2012. Dallas will hang around somewhere in the mix and Philly will be struggling in the basement all season.
