Not sure why hawks would trade Flynn at this point. He is a good insurance policy and Wilson is playing under the rookie cap numbers. They can afford to keep both.

This
$5.25 million plus $2 mil in pro-rated signing bonus. And about half a million for Russell Wilson - that's a very affordable contract situation for your quarterbacks
Unless the Seahawks can get a first rounder from someone, there's no reason to fire sale him
Yeah but given that this year's draft qbs don't seem to be that great from what others have said, Flynn seems to be the best qb out there now, and many teams need a qb.

The hot commodity is Alex Smith. Especially since Smith is likely to be cut, meaning he'll be less expensive to acquire.
Once Smith goes where he is going, and Nick Foles does or doesn't go the the Chiefs, and possibly after the draft - THEN Matt Flynn MIGHT get traded.
The Jets have already made it clear they are cutting Tim Tebow.
Jets will hold on to tebow through the draft i gotta believe......though i just assume cut him if there is no market
tebow is due 2.5 million......they cut him, 1.5 of that is dead money.......and they save 1 million against the cap....so i gotta assume they are hoping a team doesn't get the guy they want in the draft, and the jets can move tebow for a 2022 7th round pick and have the whole 2.5 off the books if the team assumes his contract.
I think Seattle just needs to keep Flynn. They already have enough draft picks so trading him for a pick kind of makes no sense. This draft seems like a solid draft as a whole but really what player is there in the draft that you would want to trade up for? To me that is the only reason to trade Flynn, to get that draft pick, package it with another and move up to get an impact DE or DT.
why the hurry??? it's not like the market will be all over Tebow as you either love him or hate him. for me, i would love him as either a developmental project behind a PROVEN vet or as a backup to a proven player. the key word is proven as a QB issue isnt even a question if the QB over him is proven.
as for Flynn, again, it's not a rush, plus he's going to be dealt, Tebow's going to be cut, so in Flynn's case, wait till March.
Offseason doesn't "officially" start 'til March 12th. So roster changes shouldn't start by and large until then.

Exactly why I wanted the Broncos to keep him behind Manning.
