BTW the reason why Geno Smith is not getting as much coverage is because he isn't good enough to warrant more coverage.

FTball needs to increase his knowledge before he goes public with his thoughts because he embarrasses himself each time he posts here.

We also see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, as your dear old daddy was/is a blatant racist, and here you are. It's gotta suck that racism, for whatever reason, seems to be coded into your DNA. Remember the time Jason Kidd stated that he wanted to make the Mavs to a 360? While we know his intention, the humor isn't lost on us, but in regards to you and your dad, you did a "360" and not a 180.

Emotional abuse is particularly sad because the emotionally abused seem to emotionally abuse others, so you need to seek therapy

as for AA vs. black deal....i highly doubt anyone cares about being called black as long as it's not the other derogratory word.....now, a QB doesnt like being called a Black Quarterback because of what a black Quarterback is sterotyped as, BUT i doubt someone who's AA or black cares about being called that anymore than a white person cares about being called white or (as you say) EA.

In regards to the thread from a different perspective- Geno Smith deserves to be bally-hooed as the next great QB if Tebow could win the Heisman while losing 5 games that year... Interest!

Tebow only lost 4 games the year he won. Enough said. If you don't know you facts, stop posting your BS is the first place.

MWR- What you think and what you know are two different things. There is a reason why the use of AA is even used today: because some people with melanin in their skin have actually graduated from college and know the term was a given term to degrade and dehumanize them.

Oh, correction: He lost 4 not 5 games and won the Heisman! Are you kidding me. We are simply talking about a QB getting the necessar props for having a great year. His year was statistically great, like Tebows but he didn't have all the star power like Florida had. Fact is Tebow is EA dn Geno is AA and the media loves to promote those that look like them more than those who don't.

There are studies on this as well so so it's not like am saying something new. It relates to sports as it does everywhere else. Did you gys know that ugly and fat people are hired less than pretty and thing? Not based on skill or knowledge and the same can be said for the media and who they promote at QB in football.

Post the headlines here: There aren't and real stand outs at QB and so forth: What a disrespect to Smtih!

No, it is a PC way of identifying people without trying to be racist. Asian American became an accepted term at the same time as African American. If a black person is going to get offended over being called black then he/she should be much more offended that the PC term considers them only half American.

A. There is no way to determine if someone is ugly so your fact is completely false B. Of course if a job comes down to an obese person and a non obese person the non obese person gets (and should) get the job. Hiring a person prone to being obese jacks up a companies insurance price, that person is prone to have more health problems and missing work as well as a person who is obese shows a lack of discipline in their life. Exactly why would you choose an obese person over a healthy person with equal qualifications when medically speaking, it is a fact that person will contribute less to your company.

I get that you're a clown and just try to rile people up but you seriously give minorities a bad name with the ignorant, uneducated garbage you spew.

How is that trying to discredit you, it is showing you know zero about history and are hurting any attempt at ending racism as you proclaim. Calling someone black and white is just as racist as calling someone AA and EA. Is differntiating a group of people based on skin color is racism regardless of how you label them. You are a clown who further disconnects race relations.

AA= African American and links two heritages

EA= European American links two heritages but leaves out the 3rd and could be offensive

In al actually I do not think we should identify anyone as anything other than human- I use EA AND AA to atleast add heritage back to humans but it could be scrapped!

I understand you ignorant theory but you do it to appease one heritage only. Linking Italian, Scottish, Irish, French and English Americans all together is just as offensive. And linking 2 heritages but leaving out a 3rd is not linking heritages. If you are a mix, you cannot just choose to be two. "African" Americans are not african at all, either you are American or you are not. Adding a different nationality in front of American just (at least should) insult every civil rights activist who put their lives into being considered equal as an American, not an African, an American.

But back to your original non intellectual post, yes sports writers are bias/prejudice that is what a writer is. An unbias writer does not have a job. None of it has to do with race either. Maybe getting more blacks into writing would help ease your sorrow of a 2nd round material player in Gino Smith being hyped but you cannot force a black man into the writing profession. Much as you cannot force a black man into buying a NFL franchise or a black man to play major league baseball as the cries seem to be all the time.

As for "black" being offensive, take it up with them. It WAS a BLACK man who came up with BLACK history month, and it WAS a BLACK man who foudned BET (BLACK Entertainment Television). Calling them AA=black. Calling me white=EA. It's all semantics at this point. I'm not in the least offended for someone calling me white. I am white, it makes sense that someone calls me white. Now if someone wants to say I "act white" then maybe I have a problem with that. In truth, I really don't, but then again I don't look for other people to blame when it comes to any shortcoming I may or may not have.

Passing the blame has it's place in the Bible as well. Adam blamed Eve for giving him the fruit, Eve blamed the serpent for "beguiling" her in giving the fruit to Adam so he could eat it. It's time we stop looking for reasons as to why we fail and start identiftying our failures and changing so we don't fail anymore. There's no more excuses anymore.

MWR- What you think and what you know are two different things. There is a reason why the use of AA is even used today
because that's the way that the professional people do things, BUT if you asked a survey of 100 people on if being called black over AA is bad, then most likely 90 out of 100 will say they dont care about being called black. like Kylews said, they call it BLACK History Month, not African American History Month, why's that??? the channel isnt called AAET it's called BET, even a dating website, it's called BlackPeopleMeet.com, not AfricanAmericanPeopleMeet.com, so let's end this whole debate as it's kinda pointless. you can call them AA all you want, BUT dont judge others on saying Black instead of AA, it's THEIR choice, it's not a derogratory word.

Fact is Tebow is EA dn Geno is AA
and FACT is this. Tebow has nothing to do with Geno Smith.
and the media loves to promote those that look like them more than those who don't.
nope, the media promotes the controversial (see Tim Tebow) or the media promotes the future star or stars (see Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, RG3 and others). the problem with Geno is 1) he's not in the nfl yet.......2) he didnt have a great senior year, yes that's right, he didnt have a great senior year. losing is one thing, but he was blown out too many times and 3) he gets small amount of hype due to the fact he's considered the best QB in the draft, BUT people arent really high on him. some either love him, hate him or just like him.

Did the clown OP not see how much hype RG3 got at times during the year? I mean, I really like him and all think he is a star in the making but it was borderline obsessive at times.

He just ignores it because it contradicts his argument that the White Man is trying to prevent a Brutha Quarterback from succeeding.
