I think we will have a better understanding of their draft
board after free agency. But I am really getting impatient with all the dead
weight we need to cut off Starting with Tommy Kelly and Rolando McClain.
What I come to realize is that I don’t think we will be
drafting a Defensive tackle in the first round, and here's why...
I believe we will resign Desmond Bryant, he and Wheeler are
our top priorities. What most of you are not considering is a move from Lamarr
Houston inside to DT.
The coaches were high on Christo Bilukidi later in the year
and I think he maybe in the rotation with an additional veteran free agent acquisition
like Jason Jones and/or Sedrick Ellis
With that said I see them trading down, going Best Player
Available or drafting a DE if they can’t trade down.
Look for trading partners to be Buffalo, St. Louis, San Francisco,
Miami or Arizona. Call me crazy but I see San Francisco in play more so than
most, because they have an abundant amount of draft picks and am in need of a
Nose tackle. I would love for us to trade down, take their 1st this year (31)
2nd round this year (60) and a 1st next year.
Another possibility I can see is.....
Swapping picks with Miami (12) and taking there additional
2nd round they have at (54)
If we trade with San Francisco I think they would draft
1st DE Alex Okafor 2nd CB Jordan Poyer 3rd Barrett Jones
If we were to trade with Miami I think the draft would end up
1st G Chance Warmack 2nd DE John Simon 3rd CB David Amerson
One thing for sure is that we will know more once free
agency starts, but I can’t wait to see some of these clowns cut from our team.
