If offered, would Bmore fans want the Colts name and colors back or is that old news at this point? My guess is too little too late as the Ravens have their own identity (and would be too confusing), but wondered what the fans thought.I know that personally, I would not want the Colts name and colors, but I was an infant when the Colts left. I've only ever known the Ravens and I couldn't imagine the name and colors changing at this point. Not after 2 Super Bowl championships. I suspect that this year's championship may have won over some of the older Colts fans who were hesitant to embrace the Ravens when they cam to town. Just a hunch though.
the forward going NFL policy should be to leave team names and colors in the cities they're leaving.I think the records and championships should be included in that as well. IMO the Colts have 1 championship, not 2. The people involved with the Colts now had nothing to do with the first Super Bowl, but Baltimore did. For the Indianapolis Colts to say they have 2 Super Bowl just feels wrong to me. Baltimore has 3, Indianapolis has 1. Just my opinion.

Had they not, it's an easy transition to get the Colts name/colors back.

They could always transfer the two most recent SB wins to the Browns franchise if they really wanted the Colts name/colors backNah, too much confusion with the 2006 Colts championship and the 2012 Ravens championship. Sure you could say that the Browns may have won the 2000 title pending they pretty much draft, coach, and hire the same way until that time, but then there's a big "what do we do" in regards to those other ones.

I think the whole city has accepted the Ravens as of now
The only thing that bothers me is when they attribute Baltimore football history, namely the Colts Giants SB that put the NFL on the map in many ways, to the Indianapolis Colts.I know that personally, I would not want the Colts name and colors, but I was an infant when the Colts left. I wish I had the experience that many Steelers, Giants, Packers fans have had where they grow up learning about how great their team is and they get to watch it with their family and get excited about this team that their family grew up rooting for and there is such good history. IBut you do have that! The Ravens have won 2 Superbowls! If that isn't history to give anyone than i don't know what is. Maybe you don't have "that" history. But your kids or nephews and nieces have a history to see right now. It's awesome. Think about it.

But I think it's important. Read that quote. That's what we have. We are living that experience right now. I hope it comes with more championships. But anyone growing up during this time has to see how well the Ravens have done through the last 5 years. It's awesome. Superbowl Champions. History is now.I understand all that but it's not the point.
