Suit yourself. I'm telling you what he is; you're dreaming of what you wish he was. If you start him at DE, you have a hole at DEWhatever you say, Mr. Realist....
DHB ran a fast 40, but on the field his speed never showed up. His route running is average at best and his hands are worse than averageWhen this happened last night my buddy(a Raiders fan) texted me to tell me and basically breathed a big sigh of relief. Dude was horrible. And with all the problems the Raiders have right now, to be relieved he's gone is saying it all.
If those numbers are real. We got a steal for both of those players. What does everyone think of our front office now?Per Anwar Richardson of Mlive of course
I have no clue where all the money is coming fromIt really seems like Suh made most of this possible. I am shocked, I really didnt think he would do it.
but I LOVE what the Lions did today. Not to sound like a dick, but I am shocked you actually wrote this. I was waiting to for you to come online today and shit**** on these moves. My apologies.
I can say, after all the signings they made today -- I have been pushing for them to draft Milliner, but I think their best bet is to get the best DE in the draft with their #5 pick. I wouldn't be upset with either pick right now though, Milliner or a DE. Either one would make us a heck of a lot better defensively. With our current needs (yes i know mayhew and bpa) I would think our first 2 picks are going to be a combo of DE, OLB, S, OG, WR. If between FA and the draft we put even solid players at those 5 spots, and injuries dont decimate us, I think the Lions are in store for a hell of a season. Aside from DE, OL, and LB (as of right now) each of our units is improved. Even though I cant currently say OL and LB are not better, I dont know that they are worse. DE is really the only spot I feel like we are not currently at least equal to where we were last year. Even S, where I think an upgrade would still be great, of Quin and Speivey is at least equal to Delmas and Speivey.
The Lions probably still need one more corner. Dominque Rogers Cromartie, Cary Williams and Antonine Cason are still out there. I hope the Lions give DRC a look. I don't think he'll be too expensive. He's a guy that's best suited playing on the outside. One of these guys and a safety and I think they Lions should be done in free agency. We need to see what Travis Lewis and Tahir Whitehead bring to the OLB table. And i say we let Willie Young/Jason Jones take over the DE positions. We have ronell Lewis there too. I read somewhere that the Play of Suh and Fairley made avril look good. Any elite DE would have gotten more sacks. So Young/Jones/Lewis shouldn't be too bad there. If all this happens, I still say draft Eric Fisher with that 5th pick and move reiff to RT. That would be my prime off season
