What do you think? Even at his age, would be an upgrade in the middle. For the right price, I would think about it and I would rather go with him uless we can get Philip Wheeler or someone like that. He's not the player he once was but he can still play and he would be great in the locker room.
No thanks. We need to get young, athletic, and hungry to make a run at another Super Bowl. Don't get me wrong, Urlacher is a Hall of Famer, and great leader for the Bears, but I don't want anyone for a year or two. I have also NEVER been a fan of making big splashes in free agency. I can name multiple teams that do year in and year out, and it ALWAYS blows up in their face (Eagles, Redskins, Bills, Raiders, etc). Unless we get lucky and snag a vet stud offensive lineman, I am good with waiting until the draft to address our remaining needs (OL-LB-TE-CB).
No thanks, but I'll tell you who they should sign. Karlos Dansby, who just got released by the Dolphins today. Dansby is 32 years old and could be a nice veteran leader in the middle who is hungry for a championship. Just sayin...he could be gotton on a 1 year veteran's minimum.
I would go for a guy like Brinkley, I would stay away from Dansby, he's no spring chicken himself and someone I work with is a big Dolphin fan and couldn't say enough bad things about him.
