Anyone else notice that the seedings for the B1G teams matched their finishing pposition in the conference regular season except for Minnesota? A lot of people like the Gophers to take out the 6 seed UCLA even so.
They got sloppy when it got under 5 minutes. TI should give them a little hell for backing off and not showing some killed instinct.
no kidding...Izzo should be making them watch "So You Want To Be A Millionaire" and harangue the hell out of them for not making a clean kill during commercial breaks.
All I got was a carrier pigeon message sent by my pet gold fish.
I am working inside a Faraday Cage this week. If you do not know what it is, suffice it to say a complete blackout of radio, tv, cell phones, and no computere allowed.
You mean like Michael Faraday? Same guy that taught us how to measure capacitance?
High school physics man. Oh, and my first job for uncle sugar was actually electronic maintenance and repair. Before they gave me a speaking part as a DJ.
Should I bother to attend the UofM game or just tailgate until the MSU game that's my big dilema thiis morning.
I always thought the POD System was'your portable moving and self storage solution', but the NCAA has turned it into a couple of extra days of drinking and basketball at the Palace for me. At least they get something right once in a while.
Have fun Johnny. I couldn't get reasonably-priced tickets to Session 3, so my son and I are going to head to the local Buffalo Wild Wings to watch from there, I guess.
Congrats to the guy that picked FGCU. I follow college ball and when the brackets came out, I said who the eff is FGCU....Anywho......Time to make it too the sweet 16 so it gives me another week of something to look forward too.
The first big test is upon us. Memphis is a team used to winning no matter who they have been playing. We are going to need a solid game from the front and back courts to win this one. I think we will see that happen today. The team should have no problems getting up for this game as memphis has a phenomenal record. The team is also following a Michigan win on the court before them. I know they will be eager to match that win in Auburn Hills. They should be pumped up for this game and the crowd should be on fire.
The Big 10 is doing very well so far. 6-1 in round 2 and 1-0 in round 3. Here's to 2-0 and getting the first 2 teams into the Sweet 16.
Payne is just a monster threat. Nix and Payne getting fiesty. Love it. That's passion. Your kicking someones butt and the passion is still there. They day we lose Izzo, were in trouble. He's the rug that ties this room together.
Actually Wisconsin is not that hard to understand. They play gritty defense and live by the jump shot. If their shots are falling, they will grind a running team to a halt and hold them to half their usual average.
If the shots are not falling, the defense still slows the other team down, but the Badgers are happy to score 40 points.
I got murdered in the west on all my brackets. Funny thing is I picked Gonzaga to lose in the second round on everyone. The dogs were all over me on the big board when I said they hadn't played anyone and would make an early exit in the tourney. I was right.... Bye Bye.
Sparty... Good showing against Memphis. I was a little concerned when we blew the 13 point lead to end the half. But then we pinned our ears back and stood on the gas. If we could cut down the on unforced T.O.'s we will be stylin' and profilin'. I realize it happens when we speed things up, but just chuckin' the ball out of bounds is stupid. At this point anything goes, he who shows up to play, Wins. We certainly have enough horses in the stable, we just need to execute. Go Green!
