How many of you watch college football here? Seems to me as if a lot of people here are repeating what these talk heads are saying about up coming draftees and not really having seen these guys actually play. Thats fine and all but you do realize that if these guys don't create a story that they have no job. And most of them are guys who are upset because they thought they should have made the league(when they shouldnt have) or couldn't even make the h.s. squad. So nit picking is part of thier personailty when it come to these guys.

I'm a die hard Notre Dame fan so I watch every game they play. Other than that, I pretty much only watch when ranked teams play.

I wont sit back and watch Michigan pound Appalachian St or some other scrup school by 50 points because its a waste of time but if a couple teams in the top 25 are playing each other, I usually try to watch the game.

Although as a Notre Dame fan, I kinda wished I would have skipped this years National Title game because they didnt even show up for that one.

mancini is a spinning image of my boss (UofF alumn) - friggin gator psycho lol. my boss told me a story of how he was pacing in his basement during their NCG games; guess id be the same way if we played in a meaningful football game. actually i was goin bat-shiz crazy the game against SD where all we needed to do was win to get into the playoffs.

as for college football, i like watching SEC and pac-12 football. game of the week obviously cuz i like the competitive. also is there is a marquie player, ill fall into it. 2 seasons ago, id stay up to watch all of Andrew Luck's games cuz i just respected the way he competed, prepared, and played the positon.

I mostly just watch the Big 10.  This is why I tend to stay out of the "who should we draft threads" and focus more on the "what position should we draft" threads.  I can talk about Big 10 players, but other than that I have no real idea of what a player brings to the table.

That 11% of "none at all" is me Mulatto. And is not a matter of lack of interest, but in Mexico college football is not covered (TV) until the bowls. Of course you can get SKY or one of these other services which give you access for a different fee. But not open TV.

we were down at my gf's shore house with 2 of my friends and their girls. they are ravid NYG fans. during our game (the afternoon game) they all wore S&B for me at the local watering hole we watched it at. when we lost, they knew i was dejected. went back to my gf's shore house and i went in the bedroom. they were all out in the living room getting ready for their NYG v DAL game cuz it was the same situation (where NYG had to win otherwise DAL went to playoffs). i manned-up, came out of the room sporting my boy's NYG shirt. they all looked at me in complete astonishment cuz they thought i was gonna do a swann-dive off the roof onto the cement. told them we gotta playoff game tonight! they were there for me for our OAK v SD game so i hadda dig-deep. wasn't easy, but my loyalty runs deeper to those who are in my corner.

I have friends and former teammates from HS that are head coaches at the Div I level, so I watch as much of their teams as I can.  First and foremost, I'll watch ND.  It's tough to catch a lot of games, however.  For my family's schedule, I work every single Friday and Saturday 12 hour NIGHT SHIFT.  It works out for the Raiders, but it's put a crimp in my college football watching.  I can usually catch the midweek televised games and a "game and a half" on Saturdays.

Having said that, I am hoping we draft O-Line on draft day, picking on of the Tackles or ultimately trading down for Warmack.  If we trade down, I'd like to see us go after EJ Manuel in round 2 (assuming we get that pick by trading down and he's still there).  If we can't get him, I wonder what anyone's thoughts are on trying to hold out until round 4 and picking up Landry Jones?

Im hoping he falls to the later rounds too. I would definately like to see RM take a gamble and go get him in the 4th or 5th. Open comp between him a TP.

I watch as much college football as I can.  Usually a lot of SEC, some Big 10 (because that's usually what was 'local' for me) and A TON of small college football.  There's a lot of interesting innovations in FCS/D2, and even D3, so it's neat to see things trickle up.  I can remember some of the offensive assistants on our staff corresponding with the University of Nevada's staff in 2006, to try and learn more about that "new" pistol offense they were running out there.  Additionally, pretty much all of modern-day pass-blocking came from what Don Coryell was doing at a "smaller school" in SDSU.

So if you guys get the time, usually whatever small conference is local to you will stream their games live, or televise/re-broadcast them on the local sports network.

It's always been a bit disappointing that the only D2 stuff on TV is usually their title game/playoffs.  I grew up in a D2 town and the city took a great deal of pride in our school.
