My apologies for being a DeadBeat Owner.
No excuses Paul. Tongue out

FB & Twitter aren't that much fun. That or I've turned into a neanderthal...which is altogether likely. Foot in mouth

Alright, I got to all my team logos, add/drops and line-ups expect in the AL only league where I got off to a 3-0 start, HANDS-Free! Only added logo there, hope it don't jinx me.
Thank God, BoSox leave town and we play only one series against them this week for the entire Season already.  Rangers - Angels should be a good race to the finish!

47 in our leagues - or overall? If overall, that's downright scary!

My roulette wheel didn't do so good this week. Neither did my AL team. Your wife wiped out my perfect record. Undecided

Heh heh I'd sure hate to be in your house...because I KNOW what the atmosphere would be like if she was here in this one. Tongue out

On the other hand I really like what those Indians are doing. Hope they keep it up. What a great change of pace it would be to have, say, a Rays / Indians ALCS instead of the usual boring Yankees / Red Sox.

misery loves company...or something like that.  I thought I was doing bad in golf (and I am, no doubt about that) but then I looked at everyone else and didn't feel quite so bad anymore.  WOW.  Tough day for all.  I'm kicking myself for initially putting VJ in there as a starter but then, at the last look, i took him out again and ended up totally dropping him from my team for DeJonge who supposedly plays this course all the time!!!  WTH?

Sitting at 1/2/7 & a bunch of bums. Overall, can't complain. Wouldn't do me any good even if I could.

i guess without the Nadster, this thread is pretty much done.

Not that what i have to say is very interesting, but lately I don't have much going on so not many posts from me.

Still worried about football season cuz the NFL, and golf to a lesser extent, is about all the sports I really care about.

Oh, and if anyone out there remembers me talking about my daughter driving the beer cart on her summer vacation, just want to mention that she just got her Master's Degree in Education from Wake Forest this past weekend.  Of course, if she doesn't get a job, it could be back to the beer cart again.

What ?!???    The nadster's gone?

I've been gone for a while, decide to read-up what's been happening in TBCL only to see the nadster's gone.  Did he retire, or gone - gone?

Jimbo  -  good to see your daughter graduated from WF.  My son graduated a few years back and was advised by his older brother  to get the teaching job first, then persue his masters.  Schools don't want to pay the extra money for a rookie teacher.  Depending where she wants to live, she find it easy to land a job.  Still having her masters is quite an accomplishment out of the way.   Good for her . . .  and you, too.

And to all the rest of you from TBCL . . .   may you have an enjoyable summer.!!

Doug/dg - My daughter went to UNC Chapel Hill to be a HS teacher, and their program for HS gets you a degree in what you want to teach, but no teaching cert.  So she had to got get her masters in education in order to teach.  Fortunately for both of us, she got a full scholarship to Wake cuz that's not a school I can afford.  Private and very expensive.

Not that it's interesting to anyone but me, but here's her actual hooding on Youtube.

As far as the Nadster goes, I don't think anyone knows exactly what happened to him, but he's been absent for a long time.  We think he got buried when a stack of Coach bags fell on him.

Seriously.

It doesn't have to be done. There's plenty of us still around, just got to post. I think the real problem is most of us (not me) are going to other sites instead of cBS.
Congrats to your daughter Jim! Cool vids. Pretty gal (& obviously smart)!

Can't think of any other reason he'd be a no-show for brackets, fantasy. A sad fate indeed...
