Looks like my Steel Curtain will make the playoffs with a stellar 7-7 record. With the injuries my team had, I am lucky to have that many wins, but that's mostly due to having the fewest points scored against me, not because I scored a lot.
But, last year, I had the opposite luck where I had the 3rd best record and point total in the league and didn't make the playoffs because the first two were also in my same division. So it's karma, neh?
Good luck everyone. It was an interesting NFL season, even if fantasy football was a little off.
Biggest story, Tim Tebow, of course. If Hollywood wrote this stuff, no one would believe it. A veteran like Marion Barber runs out of bounds when all he has to do is drop and run the clock down. They kick a 59 yd. FG (Hollywood make it 60, of course) and then Barber loses a fumble to give Denver the chance for the win and Prater kicks a 51 yarder. Crazy stuff, like most of the wins Denver has had lately.
TJ Yates and the Houston Texans would be huge news if it wasn't for Tebow. A 3rd string QB helps get them into their first post-season game ever? And he looks pretty good out there and is doing it without their stud receiver. But of course, he's no Tebow.
