More like the Colts, the bills cant do crap. the colts at least won a championship recently (as did OSU) but missed out 2 years in a row due to losses to NE

Cleveland1, maybe you don't remember history.  The Bills lost four straight SBs.  "The" OSU has not lost the 06 BCS Championship, the 07 NCAA Bball Championship, and the 07 BCS Championship.  OSU is the Scott Norwood of college sports.

herbstreit just said that the big 10 is looked at as the bottom of the barrel in BCS conferences. how bad is that? the big10 is 0-4 in BCS games in the last 2 years. spin it however you want. that is horrible.

I just remembered, the osu had the number 1 defense in the nation.  What happened, did you play a real team this week?

I think the real question here is which SEC team gets to embarrass OSU in the next BCS Title Game?

As a complete homer I want to say Kentucky, but I know that can't be right.

Then again, if the BCS didn't learn its lesson about OSU after last season, the Wildcats just might have a shot... :-\

I'm not going to dry about. we lost plain and simple, but the whole country showed favoritism towards LSU. They we're all,"SEC speed, weak schedule, weak conference,etc,etc,blah,blah,blah". The refs totally made some bad calls, and some no calls at all. Oh well maybe we'll play again next year! Go Buckeyes!

You have been classy throughout and I respect that more than you can know.  I'm here to eat my crow and I am ashamed of some of the play calling of  Ohio State.  LSU  was the better team tonight and congratulations.  I personally think the game would have been closer had there not been a few phatom personal fouls calls and a few pass interfence calls that should have been made.  But overall LSU out played the Bucks.  I am just astonied of how many Big Ten/Buckeye haters have appeared since the conclusion of this game.  LSU beat Ohio State right, not the entire SEC?  I think the Bucks will be back soon.  Sure they lost lost their second straight NCG but at least they were there which is more than 117 other teams can say.  People should not disrespect the Bucks, because they deserved to be there, even if they lost they are still a quality team.  Remember how many Florida State NCG games they lost .  Final standings:  #1 LSU    #2 Ohio State  #3 Who cares.

P.S.  You have no Idea how long it took me to type this while half fully in the bag.

LES MILES HAS NO CLASS,  LSU was handed the game by the refs.  Other than that it was a good game.

Nobody has a problem with scheduling a cupcake but you scheduled 3 cupcakes minimum. Youngstown St, Akron and Kent are all way worse that La Tech.

I have a real problem with this. Ohio St got to the National Championship game with one of the most horribly embarrasing schedules in the country and only managed to back into the game. There were more deserving teams that could have played in this game. USC and GA would have both been more competive. Ultimately somone had to play and I wish we could have seen OSU play more competitive teams and won...then I would not feel so bad for USC and GA.

 

ohio st. just validates too many points that are brought up so often. they play a weak schedule (youngstown st. , akron , kent st. , not one game against a top 20 team all year ) , in a weak conference (3-5 in bowl games ) and they are one dimensional and slow .  i respect tressel but he got outcoached in a big way in yet another national championship game . congrats for getting back to the championship but major kudos to l.s.u. you deserve to be the national champions .

And this is a perfect example of how bad a winner SEC fans can be.  Not all of you obviously, but they are so brain washed on the "speed" thing that the only thing they know to say is

The QB position is the most important position on the field.  Flynn clearly made plays that kept drives alive while Boeckman threw picks, fumbled, or got sacked.

LSU was able to take OSU out of their game by scoring 24 straight points.  This doesn't constitute being "outcoached".  They are a better team.  Giving credit to someone for "outcoaching" is ridiculous when the better team wins. 

FYI...

At nearly every position OSU is faster.  See rivals.com if you need proof.  They just aren't as good of a football team this year.  Speed didn't beat OSU.  A better football team did.
