NASCAR Cafe

With the new NASCAR season just around the corner, I think that the NASCAR fans on this board need a gathering place; a place to talk about racing, sports, music or anything that pops into our pointy little heads.

NASCARFan's "whoever responds to this thread..." served that purpose last season, but it seems to have pretty much died out.

I hope all my racing fans will visit this thread and make it a lively place for debate, bragging and good conversation!

Morning cafe! It's gunna be in the 20s today .Perfect! I just have to throw a windshield in a Taurus, write payroll n I'm going sleddin! Hope everyone has a great day n a safe weekend!

Bond - Good thing you have things to do this morning.  It was -18 F this morning when I got up, now it is up to -6.  20 sounds good, you better get out there because it is going to get to be too warm for sleddin' real soon. 

I'll take the cheddar scramble and sprinkle some fresh chives on there with a side of those homemade hashbrowns.  Looks Green and Gold to me!!

The football talk is starting to wind down, I am really looking forward to the races.

AFTERNOON CAFE
Missed breakfast this morning so I thought I'd stop by for lunch. I'll take a Shrimp wrap with some Macaroni Salad and a tall glass of Iced Tea. The start of Racing is upon us!! HOPE ALL HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND.

Going for another long walk today in about an hour, get my blood flowing and my head in the game.

Can't wait for the Shootout tonight! TV coverage starts at 5:00PM Pacific, 8:00PM Eastern and it's on FOX. (like you all didn't already know that, sheesh!)

The shootout was fun to watch.. he cars really went around there are great speeds... the two by two racing was odd....but its only here I am presuming.. so no big deal....

I'm going to check out the replay of the Shootout.

The two car racing looks pretty silly so far.

Are we out of cheese yet.............. I hope so, Traded my Steelers mug in for a "Rowdy" one, only because its racing time, or is it pushing time.........Heck I dont know, silly racing, this pushing stuff, lets just skip the 500 and go to Phoenix. Spikes.

Yeah pushing time 2 by 2 it looks like for next week. Nicely updated to a new car AV there Spikes, gonna have to find myself a good one soon. A Burnout and Bow one would do nicely! Wooooo!

A little Rowdy...and a little JJ. Sounds like a complete night at the Cafe.

The Shutout was OK, but like Spikes says, let's just move on to PIR. Still another week of this Daytona stuff. Uugh. But, if nothing else, at least the cars are on the track again.

What sounds good today?  How about some biscuits and sausage gravy.  lol

Daytona is going to take a little getting used to watching the 2 car packs.  Usually a 2 car breakaway was quickly overtaken by an 8 car train.  The racing looked pretty good though (for a plate track).  Enjoy the day.

I picked up more blueberries so it looks like oatmeal and berries with honey today.

I think that the 2 car racing seemed a bit strange, but at the end of the Shootout it was a group of four cars that pulled away from the rest by getting in line.  In the 500 we will see more of that.

As far as the pole?  Go figure that there are two Hendrick cars on the front row.  ppffftthbbbbbb!!!!
