WE as Tide fans have some of the very best posters and people on CBS. The column Nic wrote about the Tides # 1 recruiting class is a great example. We Bama fans back each other and lift each other up. Thats what being a Bama fan is all about to me. Backing the team with class with friends.

I noticed that Alabama is # 20 on CBS college football boards, and I thought - no way! Bama behind Maryland, BC, Wisconsin? Tennessee???? NO way!!! Normally I try not to put too much stock in CBS "ratings", but I finally decided this one could be put to good use.

Now WE have started a thread on the Bama board to get us all together. Make sure the Bama Nation is all on board. Kind of a "meet and greet" thing. Add each other to favorites, and help the newer members get to levels that allow avatar choice, blogging, etc...

We are going to have many new fans coming on board as Bama rises back to the natural order in college football. I would like to know who was here when times were tough. Welcome Bama Nation and friends!

Ouch Sky; that hurt! I'm from Illinois but I'm an Indiana fan. I cheer for two teams. Indiana and whoever is playing Illinois.

That's ok Sky. Hoosiers don't have much to talk about in football but we're getting better. Actually I watch most of my live games at Illinois because I'm so close to Champaign plus I get to cheer for a new team every game! Plus, it is a great place to tailgate.

I post another question for you, how does CBS determine the best posters for each team if you look at the ones for Bama, such as Quix (SP) and Sensi and a couple of the others, they haven't posted for days sometimes months but are showing as our best posters. If you will also notice most of them don't even post on our threads when they do decide to join in.

So what is it you do that has you up all hours of the night or in our case the day, the wife doesn't understand why I'll come home at 6:30 and have a few beers, it's because that's my nighttime for me.

When you see a fellow Bama faithful, just Private Message them a heads up to come visit. That way - maybe we have a better chance of avoiding the Barners and evil trolls. Shouldn't be ANY trouble avoiding the Barners after the 2008 Iron Bowl. LOL

We have many friends like Brick, who support others schools but are cool, stand up, class fans. They are Crimson Tide friendly and most welcome.

Since Sky vouched for you I threw ya a couple of 5's, I've been to the Illini's home field as I went thru Chanute for tech school if your old enough to know of that place, pretty nice area did quite abit of drinking around there, I saw Illinois and Purdue play met Jeff George and got his autograph without even knowing who he was.

I consult for automated materials handeling systems. Planning, and technical writing. Some installation, but I try to avoid the plants these days.Trading equities is why I'm on the internet at all hours. Gotta get the closing Far Easten (China, Japan, etc...) numbers and the US markets futures. Plan my stratgey for the days market, etc... Its been especially crazy lately.

No, Why would you want to move here ? I can't imagine being from here. I have not found any college football fans. How can you recruit in a place where there is so few college football fans.
