... of watching the Boise State program get tossed about on the waves.
This is unfamiliar territory. In retrospect Boise State has for the past 30+ years (of my memory) looked like it was directing their own future.
Now, the athletic programs are floundering around with no certain future. Each program may be at the top of their particular sport. Yet, it looks like we have no idea where they will be in August 2013.
And, it may be the George Dickel talking, but I think the reason for this is because we have lost the main visionary of Boise State athletics for the majority of those 30 years. Gene Bleymaier.
With the multiple conference and national championships that Boise State athletic teams have been able to achieve, why are they not in high demand in multiple conferences?
As much as I appreciate President Kustra, I just don't think he has the balls to get Boise State athletics where Bronco Nation expects them to be. And why have I not heard a single word from AD Coyle?
...because our Broncos will finally get invited to the BigXII only to have Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State defect to the PAC16 at which point the baseball playing schools will decide to dissolve the conference to create a power baseball league...FRACK I SAID IT NOW I JINXED IT sorry guys
You didn't jinx it. That TV contract the Big12 has will keep that conference together for a very long time........
Well Ironman if Boise st hadn't spent so much time hiding from the big boys they could be in a conference that had a pay off like the Big12. Then you could stop your crying about hoe Boise st doesn't have the money to do the things the Big boys do.
