You guys made a great deal for yourselves.  I think they could have gotten a first just for Cassel.  I wish both of those guys luck in KC.  I have a white panel ball autographed by Vrabel.  He also wrote Go Pats!!!  I'll be sure to pull it out if the Pats play the Thiefs while he's still there.

Good morning all...working from my dining room table right now.  Snow seems to have took a break just in the last few minutes (more is coming this morning/afternoon).  We got 7-8 inches of snow and sleet.  I heard sleet against the windows in the middle of the night.

Up until Saturday I normally called them the Chefs.

Because I'm an angry rotten vindictive bass turd.  I'm about over it though.  They'll go back to being the Chefs by the end of the week.

It was a good trade on their part.  They got what they needed and didn't give up too much for it.  Pioli did a good job like usual.  It's not Randy Moss for a 6th rounder but still a good deal.

i feel a lot better about having cassel than drafting sanchez for sure...  i just don't think we will get that much out of vrabel unless we do decide to go to a 3-4 defense...  there is also rumor we will have romeo crennel as our dc....

Pioli said he was looking for leadership out of Vrabel.  He has been a leader of a good team for years.  If he plays average and teaches the young guys what it takes to win the Chiefs got their money's worth.  It won't show up on his stat sheets but the team's record will show it.  They were last in the league in sacks last year.  Compare this years number to see if he had the desired impact.  Especially in the second half of the year.  Chemistry takes a little time.

 

Around here the press is killing Vrabel.  comparing to Mcginnist.  I watched every game last year.  If he sucks then sucking is pretty good.

The rumor is Vrabel and BB had it out.  Vrabel was the union rep.

I think that's a fair comparison.  McGinnest was still decent when they let him go.  His skills were diminishing though.  It was time to plan on replacing him in the next year or two.  I would say the samme for Vrabel.  He's got a couple of years left in him.  He'll never be as good as he was 2-3 years ago though.  I still like both those guys.  It's sad the media would rip them.   Just because it's probably the right move doesnt mean you have to trash the guy.  State the truth like I did.

Today went down to He**. I'm on a temporary job thing right now. It's supposed to be 180 hours that I do. I just got screwed at 60 hours.

Nah....I'm just a pee-on with a conspiracy theory.. Basically, McDaniels & Pioli both wanted Cassel, McDaniels was gonna ship Cutler off to Tampa in a three way with Detroit so they could get Cassell, but, in steps Pioli and basically steals Cassell AND Vrabel for a 2nd rounder....Sounds like Pioli is closer to Belichek that McDaniels
