NOKODORK - When will you take your ugly snaggly toothed head out of your fat Scottish arse? Golf is DESPERATE for Tiger Woods to continue his winning ways. Arnie put golf on the map, but Tiger Woods has made golf the game that it is today. He single handedly made golf a cooler sport. Woods raised the level of the game. Purses increased as a result. Corporate interest peaked as a result of Tiger's phenominal run. Look at the ratings. When tiger is in the hunt viewership goes through the roof. It's like night and day. When Tiger is in the hunt, it's an event. When he's not in the hunt the game is infinitely more boring with their cookie cutter pros and non descript personalities. Tiger makes it exciting. Tiger makes it cool. Being the greatest to ever play the game. Tiger Woods is still the greatest draw in golf, bar NONE.

You're whole existence on here is "SSDD" - Once again you show what a complete and total hipocryte you are.
Say that Golf doesn't need Tiger Woods shows how much you have been blinded bu your obsessive hatred for TW. You are a pathetic, weak minded buffoon. |

Hacker...you are just like Vlad. Devoid of original thought. And just like Vlad you you have evolved into SSSD.
No hatred for Woods from me. WRONG again....just like The Drooler. |

Well, I wonder if this thread will be red hot tomorrow?? The Hackers, Gimmies, Solid Idiots and every other Apologist beating the door down because Woods has won?
Or will it be quiet because he has been beaten? He is in a perfect position....one stroke behind. With only an out of form Sergio and a fairly green Rory in front of him I'd fully expect Woods to post a long overdue win. Will we see the Woods of old steamroll to victory? Or will it be the new capricious Woods? Either way The Apologist thread should see some action. And either way Woods is still a fraud a cheat and a liar.....some things will never change |

Seems the Apologits are running out of Apologies!
His spitting on the green was nothing short of disgraceful. He is classless. Will be interesting to hear from Tim ( I believe he's in Singapore ) If you spit in public it's a fine. So this distasteful practice is obviously frowned on. What will Tim think about his hero displaying such classless, vulgar behaviour? |

Tiger Woods is still the greatest draw in golf, bar NONEI don't think any of us would doubt that Woods elevated the draw and appeal to golf. However, that is in the past. Woods today is a big draw, on the order of Mickelson, Westwood ext.......... He simply isn't the "mythical golfing god" that once existed. What golf needs now is more attention on the "young guns" who are actually winning golf tourney's. Kaymer, Vegas, McIlroy, Watson, Johnson ext. That guy standing on the bridge at the Old Corse is what we need. Was Nicklaus a fan favorite? Absolutely not, untill later in his career. Palmer was beloved, and Jack was the enemy. And you know what? In the end most of the golfing world learned to love Jack's overly analitical self. You know why? He was a truely good family man who played the game the right way and respected the history of the game. Golf doesn't need Tiger, Tiger needs golf. He is nothing without it. |
