I will jump in Noko... No problem, it's different because of his ball striking.  He is starting to get a handle on his swing and with that becomes confidence, something that we all know plays a huge part in golf!  Tiger was in total control of his irons, flighting them to perfection, one problem... His new move on the back swing keeps the club face closed a little longer, therefor hitting the ball alot further.  He is also outinfront of the ball and de-lofting his irons a bit more then years past... a pure strike but just hasn't hot it dialed in quite yet.  That was Tigers miss all week, straight over the flag stick but long...  Something else hacks dont think about, is that in the past Tigers ball has been right of the hole, and with the greens sloppoing from back to front this makes the majority of your putts right to left breaks.... now that tiger is back to hitting a little draw, all his putts are left to right... something different to the eye makes a huge change in ones putting stroke... Tiger always tried to release the putter, because it was a right to left putt, not doing that so much now, a differerent release of the putter now, and that's why the switch to the Nike putter...
If you can't see improvements in his game from last year to this year, you need to stop doing so much research on the past, and the history of golf that you boast so much about, and stop watching TMZ worring aboout Tigers social life that bothers you soo much...
