Did we miss this kid?
Marcel Jones OT Nebraska? Anybody have intell on him? RT only? enjoy, bb not sure bb, I honestly looked past him, I though Kieth Williams looked better as a mauler, and we cut him.... I would rather roll the dice with Rishaw Johnson, reminds me of Willie Colon, something to prove with a chip on his shoulder. |

6-6 320 coming off of back surgery also missed time because of an ankle injury, estimated 6-7th round draft pick and played as a RT. |

I have another one for you, Tony Bergstrom RT,Utah 6-5 313. He has a 85% overall grade winning 491 of 579 assignments.
With Gilbert moving to the left side and Colon's health could be an issue the Steelers could get this guy in the 4th. He is considered a 3-4 round pick.He did have a knee injury in September but was back starting in December during the 2011 season. |

Rarebreed,
Bergstrom is a kid I posted in the round 4 vote on here..that I liked - But since then read something about him being weak.... and will need time in the weight room - probably a backup player for a year or 2.. until he develops the stength.. He is a very good technician and has good feet. I'd be interested in the 4th round.. no earlier.. enjoy, bb |

"Weak" center class now I know what they mean! Ten years ago early to mid forties I put up 225 fifteen times and I weighed about 210.

I'd still love Egnew. Watched him play a lot, he plays bigger and stronger than he may show.

NFL considers head-to-head races at Scouting CombineThe NFL Scouting Combine may soon resemble a track meet, as the league is considering changes to make the Combine more competitive and viewer friendly.Judy Battista of the New York Times reports that the NFL is considering major changes to the Combine in the future, including having head-to-head races in the 40-yard dash. With the Combine becoming important programming for NFL Network, and with the NFL now letting a small group of fans into the stadium to watch, the league is considering ways to make the Combine more fan-friendly by making it more competitive. As it stands, players have plenty of incentive to do well in the 40-yard dash, the bench press and other Combine measurements because they know NFL teams will be using those measurements to assess them. But football players are competitive people, and it might add to the incentive to push themselves if they have the opportunity to prove that they’re the fastest or the strongest man at the Combine. The NFL could, for instance, time players as usual in the 40-yard dash and then have a final race among the five players with the fastest times. Or it could assess every lineman in the bench press, and then bring back the top two and have them bench press simultaneously to see who can crank out more reps at 225 pounds for the title of strongest man at the Combine. BURGH, have you been talking to the NFL players committee or something...... ![]() ![]() A track meet you want a track meet you'll get. Are you psychic ?
