Not a good night for the Giants, Abez.  They're going to win.  It's 8-1 now in the top of the ninth.  Bad news for the boys from the Bay, don't ya think?  I mean, they're used to losing the first two or three at least.  Then, they come back.  Well, now it's the other way around, huh????

I was down there about the same time as you; and here I thought I had culture shock going from Minne to Texas; I can't even imagine Nam o Texas (though I'm surie meeting the Senora made that state one amazingly fond memory; even with the news and out of Texas sports team blackout lol)

LOL!!!  Minne, culture shock was not that bad from Nam to Texas.  Least not the western part I landed in.  Pretty much the same, just no jungle. 

Meeting the Senora did set things right in the world though.  Can't believe she still puts up with me.  Still believe it has something to do with insurance...

I hate to have to disagree with you on this one but no game 3 has every resulted in a team being dismissed from the party. Game 7 is the only critical game for both teams and games 4, 5 can be critical for one team. Game 6 is always critical for one team. All the games are improtant but not all can be labeled critical. It is only when you get to win or go home that the games are truly critical.

Having clarified that I will concede that it is important.
