We are like little ghetto children who've grown up to become sucessful and wealthy, and still have that moment of genuine affection for home when we visit-no matter how ugly it was at the time.

Don't worry, we will soon be reminded of what we hated about this place and will be glad to move on to our new digs. But, until reality biotch slaps us in the face, let's enjoy these moments on see bs.

In the mean time, it's good to see those who never left the old hood:

Bastyd-gangsta brother from another mother who welcomes us back as fresh meat for the pickins
Jonvi-local shop keeper who refuses to let changing times run him outta his neighborhood
Sonny-local pimpster who knows he will never enjoy the same infamous status in the new locale
Diss-hometown kid whose pride refuses to aloow him to leave the old place even though he knows things are better elsewhere
Riv-parish priest whose calling mandates he remain with the tortured masses
Stewie-homeless and bi-polar, equally opportunistic in his grumpy utterances to those who come back for a visit

We did not get a long weekend. Very bummed about that. However, we will only work two days next week, so I will survive. You and the kitties have big plans for Thanksgiving?
